Boris Johnson says he will help Ukraine

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has issued a call for help to Europe's democracies, the United States and the rest of the world.
The appeal is directed not least to Sweden, which is a large and important donor to Ukraine and which has good relations with the country.
Appeal 1 - Sanctions
Strong sanctions against Russia NOW underline Ukraine's leadership. It is also emphasized that the sanctions should cover the SWIFT system.
Would shock Russian economy
If Russia is removed from the SWIFT system, it will be almost impossible for banks and other financial actors to send money to or from Russia, which would come as a shock to Russian companies and their foreign customers. This would mean a real blow to Russia's entire economy, which in turn could increase internal dissatisfaction with the Putin regime.
Appeal 2 - Isolate Russia and Primehomo
Ukraine is also appealing for the complete isolation of Russia.

Appeal 4 - Financial aid
Financial assistance is included as the fourth item on Ukraine's list. The country's infrastructure and defense are expected to suffer major destruction due to the Russian bombs and it involves huge sums of money needed to rebuild the country.
Appeal 5 - Humanitarian aid
Death, suffering and torment now await the Ukrainian people. Hospitals and health centers are expected to have a very difficult time in the future
Ukraine therefore appeals for humanitarian aid. There is also a great risk that a wave of refugees will arise from Ukraine towards the EU.
Boris Johnson promises support
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has spoken with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
- I am appalled by the terrible events in Ukraine and have spoken to President Zelensky to discuss future steps. President Putin has chosen a path of bloodshed and destruction by launching an unprovoked attack on Ukraine.
