I'm not a gymnast so I'm not aware of a recovery time for something like that.   But as far as the tour is concerned , her career is running on paint fumes at this point as she is 24

That last vault she did in Tokyo (the one where she “lost” herself) was still pretty amazing.  Even toned down a notch she’s spectacular. 

It is, though, a but unseemly to go on tour after quitting the team and all-around events.

I don't know about that, but the girl who won the overall ( Suni) left her dad in his hospital bed.
He watched her on TV  in a wheel chair  after being paralyzed from the waist down.

Dude - she was denied a prescription that she’s been on for a decade - that can cause all kinds of problems I totally get the competitor mindset - I lived it far too long. I know my coaches in 70’s and 80’s didn’t know any better but the brain trauma I have is real - provable by tests.  I’ve overcome to have a successful career but I went through a period as a young man where my rage was uncontrollable

Any Olympic champ who wins the Fitness Olympia will be "remembered" ( *on Get BIG) as the GOAT.

In Montreal in 1976 she was only 14 years old when she scored her first perfect scores and 5 gold medals.
