Sounds like someone wasn't getting paid.   :D
Or maybe he just values his law license.

---
Trump lawyer who bailed on documents case says in separate lawsuit he is withdrawing due to ‘irreconcilable differences’.

A lawyer who was representing former President Donald Trump in his defamation lawsuit against CNN said Friday that he was withdrawing from the case, in the latest sign of the break-up of the Trump legal team since the lawyer, Jim Trusty, and another Trump attorney stopped representing the former president in the criminal documents case against him.

“Mr. Trusty’s withdrawal is based upon irreconcilable differences between Counsel and Plaintiff and Counsel can no longer effectively and properly represent Plaintiff,” Trusty said in a filing requesting the court’s permission to withdraw.

Trusty, along with attorney John Rowley, previously announced that they would not represent Trump in the charges that special counsel Jack Smith brought against the former president, related to the sensitive government documents he retained from his presidency and his alleged obstruction of the federal investigation into the handling of those materials.

They made the announcement last Friday morning, after Trump was told of the indictment. Trump pleaded not guilty to the charges Tuesday.

Stopped reading at .gov    ;D

And that is because many if not most facts are too boring and not interesting or controversial. Opinions are much more fun and entertaining. Laws are based on facts. So there is that.

Oh... and I guess the other 1/3 say it is because of the crimes he committed.  Which is like,... totally in the realm of reality you know.

"in 2020 they had Biden +11. That’s awful. They had Biden + 5 in Florida, even worse.

2016 they had Clinton +1 in Florida, plus 2 in North Carolina and Trump +5 in Ohio, which is pretty bad, but not as awful as 2020."

Can it be both? For example, I know Trump according to the Mueller report violated some rules. Yes, Mueller didn't have the balls to outright say Trump should be charged for X. He mistakenly thought Congress would. But my point is, if I was at a public event where I knew the Mayor of the town of 1200 people was brother in lawing contracts, and playing the game to pad his own pockets.. I might turn a blind eye.. But when it comes to the President of the United States reaching out to a Foreign president to investigate his political rival or money would be witheld, its a different level. So while I am not impressed with Bidens performance, he was better than Trump

So I can absolutely give a Biden approval rating of 38% and STILL be grateful Trump is not in office

Okay That's good.

Only I didn't ask that question - You said Biden was the lesser of 2 evils
I asked What was so Wrong / evil about Donald's policies ?

I have started a thread asking the same & hope to get some input from
Democrats / Biden supporters

Good luck with that.  I've asked Agnostic the same question and he cannot answer.  The most substantive thing you will get is essentially "Orange Man Bad."

What is the purpose of the two links you posted?  What point are you trying to make?

Yes you can be grateful that the Biden Crime Family is in office, which directly led to death of 13 American service members.  You must be so proud.

Oh !!! I'm hoping he will provide a decent answer , other than I hate Trump / Orange man bad.

I started the thread asking Biden & Democrats supporters the same question,
What policies were so detrimental to them & America.

Hopefully they will respond.

Same.

Exactly.

2 impeachments
Attempts at stealing an election
2 indictments (and counting)
Multiple bankruptcies
Many lost lawsuits
Campaign fraud, business fraud, charity fraud, etc

I guess that answers it.  At the end of the day it hasn’t yet affected me who sits in the WH.

I’m doing better now than I did in 2016-2020
I did better then than I did in 2012-2016
I did better then than I did in 2008-2012
Etc

But that’s from my own designs and decisions not who gets voted in.

"Same" is my response to your question.

If you were hoping for a more detailed response, here you go: with respect to any direct and relevant impact on my life, it was neither better nor worse under the Trump administration, just as it has been neither better nor worse under the Biden administration or any of the other administration that I am aware of.

Most of my life has been exceptional, the few times it not been great, it had nothing to do with the administration in place at the time, but rather personal matters like when my wife passed. Maybe I am just lucky, huh?

With nothing else to defend Duhnold with, Trumpturds turn to talking about Biden, Hillary, Hunter, etc.

 ::)

Why is that not predictable?

Hillary was investigated - and cleared - twice over the emails.

But don’t let that stem your flow of tears.  Might want to get a bigger bucket since the very law Trumpy upgraded in making mishandling documents a more severe crime is probably the same one they will use to sentence him under.  Talk about karma.

Good times!

HAHAHA It only gets better.   The less redacted FBI search warrant that caused the raid judge approved search of Mar-A-Lardo.

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Read+the+less+redacted+FBI+search+warrant+that+formed+the+basis+of+the+DOJ%27s+unprecedented+Trump+indictment

But never fear,...   we all know he declassified them with his mind, even though no official declassification process exists, and the feds planted all the docs there anyway.  That is the defense Trumpy's legal counsel is making.  (Actually, they are not because they are not that stupid like some people.)

GOOD TIMES!!

Biden didn't bring the charges.
The Dems didn't bring the charges.
Congress didn't bring the charges.

Kind of tough to say it is "political" motivated, when there isn't any political party involved with the charges.

By Jeff Mordock - The Washington Times - Tuesday, July 4, 2023
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2023/jul/4/jack-smiths-record-rife-mistrials-overturned-convi/

It seems like the accuser might have a personal grudge against Jack Smith and reason to have an allegiance to Trump.

'“These are no white knights. They are very dangerous and will use any tactics to win at all costs,” said former Rep. Rick Renzi, an Arizona Republican whom Mr. Smith’s team convicted in 2013 on corruption and fraud charges.

Mr. Renzi maintained his innocence but served nearly two years in prison before Mr. Trump pardoned him in 2021.

More about Jack Smith:
Smith began his career in the 1990s as a prosecutor in the New York County district attorney’s office. He later served as chief of criminal litigation and in other capacities at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.

From 2008 to 2010, Smith served as an investigation coordinator in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. He supervised investigations of foreign government officials and militia for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.

From 2010 to 2015, Smith supervised the litigation of complex public corruption cases nationwide for the Justice Department.

In 2015, Smith was appointed first assistant U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee. He later worked at Hospital Corporation of America, a health care company and hospital operator. He also was a specialist prosecutor for the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, which has a seat in The Hague. The office, established after an international agreement, has jurisdiction over crimes against humanity, war crimes and other crimes under Kosovo law.

Smith graduated from Harvard Law School and the State University of New York at Oneonta and has received numerous awards from the Justice Department and bar associations.

Reuters reported that Smith is not registered with any political party.

https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politifact/2023/06/12/ask-politifact-who-is-jack-smith-the-special-counsel-in-trump-classified-documents-case/

When Smith is not busy competing in Ironman swim-cycle-run triathlon races, according to his former colleagues, he is working as a dogged investigator who is open-minded and not afraid to pursue the truth. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/who-is-jack-smith-special-counsel-who-brought-trump-indictment-2023-06-08/

But Jack Smith has also lost cases. https://americafirstpolicy.com/latest/fact-sheet-jack-smith-a-record-that-speaks-for-itself

In his prosecutorial history he has shown himself to be nonpartisan.

Smith’s unit also pursued criminal charges against Edwards, a former senator, the vice-presidential running mate for then-Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) when he was the Democratic Party’s unsuccessful nominee against President George W. Bush...
