The FNG banks order an appraisal as a condition of the loan approvals.  Did they complain?   Did they say their appraisal companies screwed up?  Did Trump default on loans and the banks complain they were lied to and defrauded?    This entire thing is a laughable joke.

Its pretty serious but I will agree with you on appraisals as Donald Trump would have no direct involvement in giving that number.   Not only that, she is basing the value of Donald Trump's apartment on square footage only and stated that no apartment has ever sold for that amount which may be true but no-one has ever had an apartment like Donald Trump.  The walls and structure is lined in 24k gold and marble.   Its not just sheet rock and nails.








In any appraisal, there's more to it than just square feet but also location.   It will still be a hard if not difficult case without some collaboration from the appraisers and to be honest, the bank would have likely conducted their own appraisal before giving out a loan...no-one is just going to hand someone millions of dollars without one

Sure but if we look at deep red states like Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, South Carolina and West Virginia we would probably find out millions of people who would vote Democrat don't bother as they know it's hopeless.  All that being said, if a Republican ever wins the popular vote and loses electorally, I'll bet the farm we'll start seeing movement towards changing if not eliminating the electoral college.  I personally think it's antiquated.  I'd like to see whomever gets the most votes period be the winner.  In the current format we may have 10's of millions of votes every election that just don't count.  I think all votes should count.  I also think if it was most votes wins, we'd get much better turn out and be on our way to a true democracy.

I am of the understanding that the New York State Attorney General cannot bring charges against a person. The attorney general advises the executive branch of state government and defends actions and proceedings on behalf of the state. In New York, the state attorney general’s office is only allowed to prosecute a limited range of offenses on its own, like bid rigging and payroll violations. Rather than it being Ms. James last resort it is pretty much the only option she has.

She did the next best thing. New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office sent a criminal referral to U.S. prosecutors in Manhattan and the IRS regarding possible federal crimes uncovered during an investigation into Donald Trump, his business and family members. It is up to them whether or not to bring charges against him for these related activities.
