You got to be kidding man. Giving up over 300 yards on the ground doesn't mean much? There is no way on God's green earth the Colts will bring home a ring if they cannot stop the run.

Colts are just sluggish and bored. When that offense is on it doesn't matter whether they stop the run or not.

I hope you do not say that with a straight face. Please show me any team with no defense or running game who won a superbowl.

Um.. The Colts overcame many deamons last year, including your Pats. They've dropped games to teams like the Titans

Talk about a bad loss. It's demoralizing when a team just runs it down your throat, right between the tackles. They have a lot of work to do.

Good thing I'm not a betting man. I've been picking the Colts to win it all for about four years running now.

The colts got there ass handed to them by my pats when we won our 3 superbowls and they where a better team then.This has nothing to do with the pats. Did the colts win the superbowl last year with all the demons they overcame?

I am not trying to hate. I think the colts are a GREAT team. I am just stating that the chances of them winning it all with that defense and no running game is low. Hell, you think I do not know that pats have BIG problems with all the injuries this year? With the losses of Wilfork and Watson today, we have to get some guys back for the playoffs or we are in deep shit. I only said what I did about the colts because of there record. Not a huge winning margin in most the games they have played. So for them to have no defense or running game against a More complete team will be a huge dissadvantage imo.

If you look at the contenders they played, the winning margin is not so high for the level that offense is on talent wise.

The Colts rushing O has been okay. They were averaging 115 a game with 14 TDs coming into today's game. That will drop after today, but Rhodes and Addai have been serviceable. Definitely good enough to win when you have Manning, Harrison, Wayne, and Clark.

The running is good actually, as good or better than in previous years when it was near the top. They're just running less in most games. Even the defense might do, today was an anomally just as it was for NE in their loss. None of the other good teams in the NFL are great, therefore no team has to be great in all areas to win.

It comes down to Manning making plays under pressure. No different from Elway; if he eventually gets it done after falling short, most of the negatives will be similarly forgotten.

Depends. If they run well enough to keep the D honest, which they have been doing all season, that will be good enough. The Pats did it several times without a dominant running game.

Good point. But, the pats had a dominant defense and could stop the run. My argument is based more on the Colts defense then running game.

Not trying to take anything away from the colts. They are 10 - 3. Just do not see them going all the way with this defense. Of course I could be totally wrong.

You cannot have a run defense like that and expect to even be playing for a superbowl. Won't happen.
