Q&A with experts/Pros/trainers
Discount supplements (that's a good one lol)
Supplement reviews based on real-life experiences by people who have used them, not people who are selling them ::)
Informative articles that are not too long and boring
Interactive training advice/information (it sounds good, but I don't really know what it means ;D)
Hot chicks  :-*

All good ideas...

AJ, one thing that i think no bb related web site has ever had was like an "intervention" tv-show. This could be done on a very low budget. Basically take two "experts" one who is REALLY big and buff and one who wears that long doctors jacket. Then you have your "victim" people could send their friends and such and basically here's how it would go:

1. They make him/her feel comfortable about being there.¨

2. Next they would start pointing out what is wrong with their bodies...
Like the big guy would say: "your arms are so small, that you make me sick! Like what the fuck is wrong with you? Don't you know that you look like a 14 year old chinese girl? Why don't you have any kind of chest? Don't you realise that if you wont get at least 100 lbs of muscle mass more than you now have you are not worth anything as a person? You are not even an human! You look like a twiggy alien cock eater! you make me sick! If i was you i'd never leave the house so that my family would not have to ashamed of me!

3. Then the "doctor" would start to point out all of these weird "medical" conditions he might have, because for instance you don't bench enough. He would say that, i think you might get brain cancer, that is if you already don't have it. You are going to get constant violent diarrhea, because you don't eat ten times a day. Then they could aggravate him, by saying stuff like: "we spoke to your wife and he tells us that you are impotent! That you haven't had sex with her in years and that's why she smokes crack with Carlos and Tyrone and let's them gang bang her!"

4.And by then the guy would go apeshit and the Dr would throw a glass of water on his face and these two insane sized security guys would dragg him of the set while cameras are filming.

5. Then they would have an closing speech like in Dr. Phil and the big would go see that kids if you can't drink six protein shakes a day you might grow up to be like that, sad, sad, man...

Plus, the "doctor" would gives his "recommendations" which would be insane cycles: like 3000 mg test per week, 250 mg tren per day, 300 mg anadrol per day, 1 500 mg of deca per week. Cycle lenght indefinitely. Diet 8000 calories per day.

6. The name of the show could be: "Health, mind, body, soul."

It sounds like their was fraud involved.  That alone would cause me to fire the person on the spot.

Another important point: always do it with compasion and respect no matter how much of a f*ck up they might be.

There is much more to this now that i was briefed by the owner a few hours ago.

I will be respectful no matter what, thanks for the advice.

Hey bro if you want to have some longevity in that company and work in a good enviroment lay off from the bottom up. No one can fault you for this. Let the owners fire the lazy. Ive dealt with kind of stuff for a long time and it is the best way to go. If they were Union you would have no choice but to layoff from the bottom, regardless of employee worth!

Do your self and stay out of the company politics. Employees opinion of a new manager can sometimes make or break a manager. When the big guys start hearing lots of negative feed back on managers they sometimes go. When you lay off 20 year employee's you put out the message that no one's job is safe, and this destroy's morale! - Good Luck Brotha

I'm the head of the department, so now the politics are being thrown at me no matter what. i know this will create negative feedback but i have no other choice.

here is the deal...i agree with laying off from the bottom but i have this dilemma.

The bottom two guys bust their ass every day and they make my team an assload of profit. they are IDEAL employees in my opinion. hard workers.

The top two guys(who i plan on letting go) do nothing but burn budgets and barely even work. they make the most money out of everyone, yet they produce the least amount of work and most of their time is charged to overhead for no fucking reason at all, so i can't bill clients for that, not good. they are eating into profits so much that the owner is concerned, which is why i have to take control.

if i let the top two guys go, my team will increase profits big time, and these guys don't add any benefit to my team, at all. morale is low already because our work load is about 40% of what it should be because of the housing market. so we NEED to cut the fat, and in this case the top two highest paid guys are the weakest link in many ways. they just happen to be here for a long time.

If i get a bad rap for this i don't care, as i will be starting my own business in about 2 years. :)

i wish i could go back to managing projects, instead of people...lol

4thAD has some valid points and yes, that could end up being the overall outcome.  Then again, those who truly are conscientious and ethical employees will respect the decision(s) if not applaud it, because they surly know what's going on too.

You were put in a position to help improve the bottom line and if you don't do that, it's your a$$ on the line.  Standard measureables should be in place within the organization and therefore you can show through documentation and comparison, low productivity, high hour budgeted projects, etc.  Most likely these guys know how to manipulate the system by showing more productivity than what is actual and that is why they are billing against projects.  Hopefully you can objectively show that projects can come in on time, on or under budget with the honest workers.  It sounds like too many hours are being budgeted in the first place... but that's another issue  :-\

Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like you can do much to expose the (LACK OF) confidentiality code of conduct of the H/R person  :-\   What goes around...  ;)    At this point, you're the one being held accountable, not to improve morale.

Good luck!
Oh, and
Congratulations on the promotion (I think  :-*)

Hey, how many of you guys or girls use taurine? I've been lifting over ten years and just now bought my first jar of it. I never really thought that i needed it for anything and the very low price seemed kind of weird to me.

Anyway two days ago i drank a sugar free red bull, took an 100 mg caffeine pill and a tee spoon of taurine after about 45 mins i went and did my morning cardio (walking outdoors). I felt like i could had walked all day long and i was sweating like a pig. This wired feeling lasted about 12 hours!

The effects were much more extreme than with ECA stack, which seems very weird to me. Could it be like with anything else that some people might be over sensitive to it? When i searched through the internet there where guys that said it did not work even when they took 20 grams of it?!

That's a main ingredient (1 gram or so) in a lot of those energy drinks.

Yeah i know, but apparently i need at least that 5 grams to get the "feeling."
I do sometimes drink sugar free red bull, but i only drink one and i think that one red bull has only 800 mg of it.

Kind of funny what a conditionally essential amino acid can do, huh?

overall....I liked it alot. It wasn't the best plot in the world, or best cast, or best anything to be honest.

But it seemed believable and it was so fricking graphic. You would see limbs getting blown the fuck off.....and that made the movie in my opinion ;D

I'll admit, I use the term "lunatic" very loosely when speaking of him...there is no question that the guy is educated...and being educated is a large part of what being a leader of our country is about...we don't' want an idiotic moron at the helm. After all, one of the best pieces ever written about this comes from the Federalist Papers written by Madison and Hamilton. It was Hamilton who said in Fed 51:

"The minds of the massive is ever changing. Therefore, let us give control to the first class because it is the mass that is subject to mob rule." (I paraphrased this quote as best as I can recall it. I actually have a copy of the Fed papers left over from school, but in no mood to pull it out...this was the jist.)

What we can take from Hamilton's words...in regards to the "First Class" he is not speaking of the wealthy, but rather the educated. During the early years of our country, although many of the educated were indeed wealthy, our country established the first place on earth where educated and wealth were not both requirements to be deemed "First Class."

But the problem with candidates like Obama IMO is they go against the very fabric of what our country is intended to be. Again, I point to Hamilton's word in the same Fed 51:

but what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”

With the socialistic ideology of Obama, too much control is given to the government...too much responsibility is placed on the government. The way I see it. I do not want the government to have more responsibility then necessary over me or my family. I do not want my well being or my families well being to be put in the hands of our government more then need be. This is why this country was founded, so that men could live by their own hand, not by the hand of a controlling big brother.

i dont care much about policy debate.. i dont think it really matters much. all i care about is a polticians motivations for office and his character and his thought process. everybody has a different view on the world depending on their own personal reality and experiences... so the views dont matter to me; but the way he thinks over the facts and the issues DO. and obama is a very objective guy who thinks things through and tries to think about every party involved and all the positions on an issue. i think his motivation for office is rooted with god intentions a real desire to make prupouseful change.

to me thats all that matters. knowing the guy is not a crook and that he has god intentions and is intelligent.

no tother candidate or politicians meets that qualification. in fact no other candidate (major candidate) since PROBABLY jfk, maybe reagan

Since policy is what they deal with, this should be very important to you IMO. Good intentions is not enough. Good intentions more often then not lead to failure.

Your boy may very well have the best intentions in the world. I think for the most part, both candidates do...I dont' think either is out to destroy America. But when your intentions are a threat to in this case the American way of life, no matter how good those intentions may be, they are unjustified and in short not worth a grain of salt.

I saw it and it fucking rocked! One of the best movies ever! Stallone was in incredible shape. I have to admit i have been a HUGE stallone fan since i was 6 years old. When i was a kid i had a dark grey cat that was an offspring of this VERY bad ass "kitty." That cat was cool and relaxed, but when he saw necessary as in a situation where some drunken neighbor wanted to pick me up or something like that that cat would go apeshit! I know it sounds funny, but that cat was one bad ass mofo. And i swear you could see his muscles! I'm serious, i don't know if it was his genes, but that cat had muscles! Oh yeah, i named him RAMBO.

Because of the influence of ROCKY and RAMBO movies i'm big and strong today. I know it might sound retarded, but when i was a young kid i would watch his movies and then do push ups like from dusk till down and then i'd drink raw eggs...

                                                      FROM RAMBO IV:

Yep cause they are too stupid to.  They vote for the people that make this country more of an aristocracy, while these peoples quality of life dwindles every day.  They cant see past their racism to see what is even going on.  They think they are part of the good ol boys club cause of their color, when they are so far from it, its sickening.

Lots of rednecks in this country, how do you think Bush got elected twice.  And look what a good job he did.

Hey Luv, I still think you're a pretty awesome dude, but I disagree the same. But hey, believe it or not I've got lots of friends that have differant view points then mine. One of my really good friends today is an old college professor who has to be one of the furthest left leaning individuals there is...but we get along.

...and I do see where the majority is going, and right now it's not really in either direction in terms of which candidate IMO. You got to remember, you and I live in differant sections of the country...the thoughts and feelings up in your neck of the woods are very differant then they are down here. If the election was held tomorrow, Obama wouldn't win one southern state IMO...no, not because of race, but simply because of who he is and what he stands for.

The American way of life...all that means is the ability and freedom to choose how you live your life...if you make it fine if not then that's on you, but you either succeeded by your own hand or failed by the same hand...there was no reliance on government. Candidates like Obama take all responsibility off of the individual...IMO they take away a mans reason for bettering himself.

...and my "your boy" comment...well, not sure what to tell you or how to defend that one. Guess that's just sort of how I talk...I try my best not to be red neck but hey, I am from TN....we just got indoor plumbing 5 yrs ago and they say a shipment of shoes will be here by winter....yee-haw!!!! 8)

Yes we do dissagree.  I never stopped thinking you were cool either.  The majority of the people are not seeing the American way of life that is the point I was making.  These are not lazy people who are not trying, they are hard working people who have seen thier jobs dissapear.  What I see is a big huge pit that has been dug and its gonna take a long time to get out.  When Bush took office the gov was operating under a surpluss, now we are in debt up to our eyeballs with everybody.  Our money is worthless and the world thinks (cause we are) we are a bunch of war mongers.  Please lets not get started on that huge waste of money and lives that is dragging this place into the gutter.

Did you see the last unemployment #'s?  Again not people who are not trying to "help themselves"  Not people who are looking for government handouts, which is the defense conserves use.  I would hate to be a kid just out of school now entering the job market.  The domino effect of all of this will be tramatic to all.  Where will it end?

Sorry man but I think Obama stands for the American dream, he just wants many more people to share in it and not by giving it to them, but by giving them a chance.

Now I far from perfect and at times have had racist feelings.  The same thoughts of "hey these people just are not trying hard enough"  Sometimes on my way to work I drive thru some of the tuffest neighborhoods in Chicago, west side.  And I see lots of able body men just kind of hanging out or doing whatever, but they are not at work?  Someone could say what a bunch of bums.  Well in reality there is no jobs for THEM.  They are truely dis-enfranchised, lost and not wanted anywhere.  Where do they go?  Yes Im sure some are not trying and are trying to take advantage, but you will find that in any neck of the woods.

I was at a stop light on North ave and Austin in Chicago.  And sometimes the poor will come up to your car to clean your windshield to try and make some change.  This older probally late 40's black guy walked up to the truck in front of me and started to try and spray the guys windsheild.  Well the driver went off on the guy calling him names and cussing him out, I could see how irate the driver was he was waving his hands all about.  Then the guy walked up to my truck and started to spray the window to clean it.  At first I tryed to wave the guy off, but the poor guy was about crying and he said to me "please dont yell at me, your not like the other guy. Please dont hate me, I gotta try. I gotta keep trying"  I gave him some change and drove off as he thanked me.  This encounter left a mark on me.  We are all human. we all need a job and this was the best he could do right now.  I dont see a corporation hiring him any time soon, he may not even have an address.

So yeah AJ we see it different but I still Luv yah.
