he's aged well but the skin around his eyes isn't the same

Of course, there's going to be some aging after 25 years. One can always nit pick and find something but I always say, "Compared to what?" Yeah, the skin around his eyes "isn't the same" but compared that to the average 50 year old. In fact, compared that to the average 35 year old.

Yeah, he's definitely got echoes of 'the crack years' going on. Smoking stimulants does something to the small muscles of the face (IMHO)
