I actually have a friend that runs 50 mile races. he is careful about diet too. You don't run 50 miles a day in training lol. More like 5 -10 MAX and that's only a few times a week. I train with professional bicycle racers here in Greenville. These guys put in 300 miles a week easily. They are on strict diets.

You can't outrun a bad diet. Hard to believe but true.
