Most of us here are middle-aged. You get less sociable as you get older. People become a bigger and bigger pain in the ass.

I've never understood why people pay to see geriatric rockers live.  Why not just listen to their old albums?

I saw Paul McCartney five years ago and it was the best energy I’ve ever seen at a concert. Dude slayed it.

I’d like to see Black Crowes. Glad they still have it together and didn’t sound like shit.

Who were your other concerts, Bing Crosby and Tony Bennett?

I saw an aging Robert Plant and Jimmy Page in concert many yeas ago.  Well worth the price of admission.

I wasn't old enough to have seen Led Zepplin at their peak so this was the next best thing.

Paul McCartney and energy?  I've seen more energetic cadavers.  Whenever I hear a McCartney song I want to stab out my eardrums.

I know it’s probably hard to explain, but the dude engaged with the audience, and if you like his music the live version of him is stellar. I’ve seen all sorts of acts. Shit, I’m not a Kiss fan but they put on a great show.

It’s funny you type that, because the venue we saw him at was nick named “Oldchella”. It was at the Coachella venue and was three nights. Bob Dylan and the Stones night one, Neil Young and Paul McCartney night two, and The Who and Roger Waters closing it out night three. Might’ve been the whole experience, but I stand by it, Paul was a great show.

That's an impressive line up for certain.

I saw Stones about a decade ago and they could still bring it.

But for overall energy, I'm going to say seeing Slayer at a 200 person venue play for 3 hours might have just had a TAD more energy than Sir Paul.
