I believe the South Korean are technically extinct, as in the birth rate has been so low for so many years that there will not be enough people to run the infrastructure within 20 or 30 years. Plus the burden of having enough money for the State retirement plans for the elder.

The problem is a low birth rate. It’s a problem in successful counties as having kids gets expensive.
