My oldest grandchild was born in 1990 when I was 46 years old. My third great-grandchild was born a little over a year ago. I have four grandkids and three great-grandkids. Much to some Getbig member's chagrin I might live long enough for yet another generation. My oldest great-grandchild will be six years old later this year.

Congrats.  Welcome to the world of grand parenting!  All the fun of children, but no diapers to change.   

Best thing to do now is get a credit card and add his name to it.  For the next 18 years, use it for small things and pay them off.  When he turns 18 he's got a 800 credit score to start life off with.
