didn't this guy drop dead at some ridiculous early age or was that someone else? ???

That is a picture of the English Tom Hawk who was a strongman competitor in the 80's. He died of a heart attack while demonstrating an  event for the Pure Strengh contest in Stirling Scotland in 1989 (Kaz and OD Wilson were there representing USA). I was working with Dougie Edmunds as a timer that day and remember the shock of it. I think he was only 22 at the time.

22??? i've seen his face and he looks in his 30's. why'd he die? too much juice? can you die from that?
