Wonder if Ronnie will retract his famous one-liner from last time he was on the radio show.  Just one white man's opinion.  That still cracks me up.  I guess now its just "one white mans sandow trophy".

It'll be giant news so matter if he wins or loses.

Ronnie:
Will you retire if you win?
Will you retire if you lose?
Please predict the top 6 (this will show how much respect he really gives Jay)

they should put Ronnie and Cutler on together.

Thats what ive been saying for the looongest time

They should have DUELING guests on , going HEAD 2 HEAD with each other , obviously we will see the outcome and who would have won the battle and thus bragging rights

These guys need to have Shawn and King on there going head to head  ( RATINGS !) , screw that having a response from the other 1 week later *YAWN*

Take note dan .....do it before the no bull steals the idea

Dan  , 1 more thing dude

Pleeeease ask the guests that you have on to please *SPEAK UP* ! Its the most unflattering thing to listen to a guest that you have on , and he sounds like he rather be anywhere else on the planet BUT the radio show

Absolutely lame sounding for a gr8 show. Please emplore them to exude atleast a tad bit of happiness and excitement by being on the show.Good examples are Levrone, arnie and QT (Man that guy spoke LOUD AND CLEAR, I LOVED THAT)

Mark dugdale , sounded like he was sleeping !

Please dude for the sake of ya own show m, wake em up a bit

PBW has done that before.  One of the all time great PBW shows was when Priest and Shawn faced off about the PDI. It got out of control.  A few weeks ago Quincy and Tony Freeman were on together (they both seemed afraid to talk shit once they were on the show together),  Most of these guys get soft once they're on together.  They talk smack in the mags.  But once they get on the radio together, its all P.C. sweet talk "I respect you brother...".  "Your still my dawg...."

Hmm... questions to ask Ronnie...

1) How do you feel that Jay is now the front runner coming into the Olympia?

2) How do you feel that some people are saying that your prediction, Victor Martinez, might actually come in second over you at this years Olympia, and you may even be in third place?

3) Will you compete with your hair or without your hair?

4) If Jay loses to you, will you shave his hair off?

5) How is it different training for the Olympia at your age now than it was even 2-3 years ago?

6) Last year, some people said your back was off. Can you get your back to where you want it to be this year?

7) Do you agree that your demeanor on stage and afterwards at last years Olympia were considered not a 'good loser' attitude?

8) Does Jay Cutler deserver your respect and others as being the current Mr. Olympia?

9) Will you retire whether you win or lose this year at the O?

10) How has life changed now that you are not the current Mr. Olympia?

11) If you do retire, what would you want to be doing in 5 years from now?

12) After you lost to Jay Cutler, did you lose any support from your fans?

Just some questions...

I agree , much like the bob vs milos saga on the boards translated to a dud on air

But *certain* shows deserve the ` dueling guests` format , when those guests have an eletric chemistry together eg : kamakli vs shawn, milos vs shawn .If you read you above statment , you will notice that you say that the `duel` show was one of the best ever , this proves my point

Ronnie is a racist, but because he's black no one calls him on it.  If he were white and said something like that, he would have been at the very least fined by the IFBB, or worse.

That just the way it goes, black people can now be racist against white people, but white people can't do a thing about it. And if we do let the N word slip, world war 3 will erupt.

As for Ronnie, he wasn't being racist, just made a dumb statement. Remember, Ronnie is black and has won 8 sandows, he knows that it would be stupid to say he lost because Jay is white.

Why not be honest and just ask him an unbiased question like: "Why has your left tricep and lat gotten smaller and looked like it has been the cause of injury of some sort?"

Ronnie is clearly past his prime and should call it quits after this year

with that said, i can't think of any other male bodybuilder that I would want to work out with..
probably wouldn't be the most technical work out..but it would be one that I would never forget...

I am late to following bodybuilding and Ronnie has always been the Mr. O until last year...
say what you want about him, but atleast concede that he is entertaining in his own right

to be honest, I have seen the unbelivable about 5 times and I haven't gotten tired of it yet.
good luck Ronnie with your life outside of competing..and thanks for the memories..you will always be a champ to me

The chad seems to think that all Ronnie has to do is show up and he's gonna win.....

Used to be that that WAS all Ronnie had to do! The only person that could beat Ronnie in 98-99-05 etc... shape was Ronnie. He showed up off his conditioning a few times (01 when Cutler could have beat him, but structure-wise, Ronnie was still superior and his back/ham/glute detail was still phenomenal!), but still managed to eek it out somehow.
But that was then.
Now, he actually is going to "have to work" for it, and doing everything right considering all he's up against with his symmetry issues. :-\

What's wrong with a man wanting to retire with one more Win under his belt ? Because I assure you that's what Ronnie is trying to do ( at least that's what he would LIKE to do ) ... I can almost guarantee you that Ronnie would've retired last year if he would've one that Sandow ... GUARANTEE !

Now, he actually is going to "have to work" for it, and doing everything right considering all he's up against with his symmetry issues. :-\

Great post !

What's wrong with a man wanting to retire with one more Win under his belt ? Because I assure you that's what Ronnie is trying to do ( at least that's what he would LIKE to do ) ... I can almost guarantee you that Ronnie would've retired last year if he would've one that Sandow ... GUARANTEE !

bullshit. he would have wanted 10. and if he won 10, he'd want 11. there's no way in hell he'd have retired just with 9 if he thought he could win again. that's why he didn't stop after 2005 when he tied haney, he thought he'd get another.

nothing's wrong with it, but let's look at the possibilities:

1) ronnie retires with 8 sandows, going out on top with only one loss in the last eight years of his career.

2) ronnie retires with 8 sandows, after losing 8 contests in a row that saw his placings fall lower and lower.

* Sigh * ...  ::)

This is how I see it ... Ronnie was tied ( and still is ) with Haney with 8 Sandow's. If he would have won last years' Sandow he would now currently have 9 ... are you with me so far ? Okay, with 9 SANDOW'S he would have been in a class ALL BY HIMSELF so WHY wouldn't he want to retire ... he would've and still can retire on top ... do you understand what I'm saying or is it all bullshit ?

Ronnie says the judges got it wrong, that Jay should of lost, and that is after he saw the pictures, and had almost a full year to think about it.

That is just one gorilla's opinion

Jay narrowly beat Ron at the O, but Ron should have won one of the grand prix's, and Ruhl should have won another. Jay will not repeat this year.

Jay only beat Ronnie because Ronnie was off!!

Ronnie knows that his structure / genetics are far superior to jays and so will always think that he beats him.

Neither one of them should have won. Dennis Wolf should have won.

Show me pics where Jay or Ronnie look better than this (Wolf from last year's Mr. O):

Completely relaxed. (Isn't this EXACTLY what you'd want to look like? Well, maybe bigger calves)

And while his back was not as good as Jay's, it's not that bad.

wolf is the future

Wolfe is blowing his body out and losing his lines exchange for conditioning, This will stop him dead in his tracks and he will fall back to the likes of Markus and Branch and Dennis James. He is not the future- he is rushing and needs to slow down.

Another great Ronnie quote.  "Why complain?"  In reference to Shawn Ray whining about the same thing.

Did he say Olympia stage? He could go on to win the AC for the next few years and make more cash then at the " O "

If he loses the Olympia, I would say the best choice for Ronnie would be to sweep up the spring shows winning the Ironman, ASC, and all the rest and then retire.  In a way, he would still be retiring on top and I'm pretty confident he could win those shows.

Should Tiger Woods quit if he can no longer play as good as his best, but is still kicking ass among the top pro's?

Ronnie should quit bodybuilding, just because he can't win 1st or 2nd place?

Maybe he loves what he does, and enjoys doing the best he can with what he has to work with.

Maybe he does it for himself and how it makes him feel at this point in his life?  Ever think of it like that?  Trolls such as yourself only seem to be concerned with the competitive record or the legacy left behind.

Maybe if you had ever accomplished something, just once in your life, you might know what it feels like and keep your stupid, stand still/quitting reccomendations to yourself.

Ronnie is clearly past his prime and should call it quits after this year
