I read this in an article:

Caffeine is a mild vasoconstrictor. Thus, it generally decreases blood flow, especially to the brain, inner organs, and skin. It also seems to limit blood flow to the muscles during exercise.

Should I avoid coffee for pick-me-ups for work-outs?
