No matter how you change your workout/eating habits your body doesn't react the way it used to?
I am in my mid 40's, work out like a fiend, watch what I eat and saw a dimple in my outer thigh! My legs are the first bodypart to get from running and lifting.
Seeing that one dimple makes me realize the body really ages before the mind accepts it.

Sandra, is it the skin, or the flesh underneath that's losing it's firmness?

It is actually the flesh underneath. The dreaded cellulite.
Ah well, I will live.

Oh wow, ...not sure what to do about that, ...the only thing I can suggest is frequent massage :-\

Is this where I get to take a shot at all the Old People? 8)
Good thing I am far to nice to do something like that. ;D

Go for it, you'll start getting old soon. One minute you're 18 then you blink and you wake up and you're 42.
I'm at an age where my hair is going grey (which I've always looked forward to, I love long grey hair) The bit I don't like is the chin descending. Perhaps I've not been smiling enough lately...
loofah and massage keeps you looking 30ish
and lots of love, laughs and friends too.
cellulite is okay, men don't actually notice it!!!
with love

ps: I'm at an age where noone would dare ask me anymore. problem is, I already know from older girlfriends and mothers of friends, that once you pass 50 or 60 you turn invisible.
-
Well,
The body may be going thru the whole age thing, but the spirit is still young.
I don't believe when you hit your 50s you become invisible. If you are confidient in yourself, you will always stand out no matter what your chronological age is.
As far as gray hairs. I am going natural with it. I can see a few already. I am quite comfortable with that.

I totally agree with you. I feel sorry for all those girls who think their strength & power is in their youth, cause when they get older, they are just a bundle of insecurity. Heck, they're already bundles of insecurity in their youth.
I think Grey hair has alot to do with the mineral content in your diet, ...as well as stress.
Grey hairs don't concern me. my sister first starting going grey when she was 17, then they went away 2 yrs later.
Love yourself, be confident and comfortable in your own skin, and look out. As for cellulite, I think that's a circulation thing. You could try dry brushing.

there is always Endermologie. I hear it works well..

I can come over and assist you ?

Now on a more serious note:
Have you ever looked into mesotherapy procedures? They work, downside is cost, upside is you can get the medicines yourself and if your not afraid of hypo needles you can do it yourself.
Let me know which one you decide

I swore I was going to stop at age 25, not sure what the hell happened as the plan didn't proceed as scheduled, but I can't complain ... too much. ;D
I believe we become old when we allow ourselves to "get" old. I do not stay stationary very long. I eat well, train hard and play hard. I hope it keeps me young in body as much as it keeps me young in spirit/soul. ;)
