Title: iPod Disaster S.O.S

My computer hard drive where my itunes music is stored is trashed.  All I have left is my ipod with all the music and I desperately need to re-install all of the music from the iPod back to my PC in itunes.  Anyone who helps me will earn an automatic place in heaven.  Thanks.

On the Mac you can transfer your songs from the ipod back to the Mac with senuti (itunes spelled backwards) http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/

My PC friend told me some time ago that there are PC applications that can do the same thing.  I suggest you post your question in a PC/itunes forum to find the name of one of those apps.

Whatever you do don't update it with Itunes again.  You'll erase everything.  And you'll have topay to get the music again.  it happened to me.  now I back up all my music on disk in case something happens
