Title: Asthma
Post by: natural al on November 16, 2006, 07:57:18 AM
anyone else have asthma on the board?  I've never had alot of trouble with attacks but I had a little problem last night while trying to do some cardio.  I wrestled in HS and I've only had like 3 attacks in my life but I was wondering how people that workout deal with it if it's more severe.  I do get broncial infections in the winter that are due to my lung issues but I usually work around it by carrying around my inhaler.

Anybody?

actually when I first used my inhaler a couple of years ago I was hyped up like I was taking ephedra, it made me jumpy as hell.  Now, not so much.  I have taken ephedra because it was a broncial dialator in the past for wrestling and such so I wouldn't gas out if the match went the whole way.

I know a guy who swears by it, but I guess each asthma situation can be different.

I have asthma and I use an inhaler once a day, in the morning before breakfast. Seretide has 2 components. One is for breathing clearly, the other one is to avoid inflammation. Works fine for me. I've climbed 2 mountains without breading problems. If you still have problems you should go to a medical specialist, because one type inhaler won't work for every one.
