He works out. And he's not too hairy like Sean Connery.

He also had a soul.

Edited: Was anybody else suprised that he was on the shorter side? I really don't think he was much taller than five foot nine.

I normally have to be dragged to see any JB flick, but this one was great! Daniel Craig is a very hot James Bond... he was really good in Layer Cake and Munich too.

The first time I saw him was in 4 Layer Cake and he was terrific in that...hated the end though.  I liked Connery too, but he was long in the tooth by the time I was old enough to watch Bond movies.  This guy has that smothering look, that great smile and a great body to boot.  He does show emotion and it was nice to see a "Bond" that could fall in love and not just lust with a woman.  I thought the opening was terrific.  Have seen a documentary wherein teenagers and young men are doing that running and leaping all over the place.  Cool

I just saw this movie, and oh my goodness!  Can I please take him home?  Daniel Craig is just hot, hot, hot!  I'd give up chocolate for that man.

I saw Layer Cake as well about a week ago, and that's when I noticed him for the first time.  I was mesmerzied then, and it's partly why I wanted to see the new James Bond film.

And you see him naked (minus the genitalia...dang it!) for a brief moment too!  He definitely works out, and the script writers even added in a line about him taking care of himself.

I talked in another thread about slight imperfections being very sexy on a good looking guy.  Harrison Ford has this, as does Daniel Craig.  Examine his lower lip...one half hangs slightly lower and is thus a little fuller than the other.  Yep...I think I spent too much time staring at him during the 2 1/2 hour long film.    ;D

this new guy couldn't carry Roger Moore's jock, that's what James Bond should be, 6'4" and sauve as the day is long, this new guy is too "street" and common.

I thought Moore was good in The Saint tv shows but I think this Bond embodies the "manly" aspect of the original Bond but with a new sensitivity.  This new Bond movie also appeared to have a "60's" feel.  He had just the right touch of roughness to him, not too smooth.  And as Jodi pointed out, he had a great body.  I can't imagine Roger Moore's Bond having a similiar physic which you would expect for someone to have as a secret agent man.  Yes I know stuntmen and special effects go a long way, but still shouldn't your Bond look muscular.

not really, this new guy is too short and small, Moore may not have had a bb'ing physique, not that this new guy does either but Moore was at least tall and cultured looking, this new guy looks too common.

Hi.

Roger Moore was good, but...  I thought he did slapstick.

Sean Connery (oh come on, he wasn't that hairy) was the best.  I've seen every Bond movie but this one not yet {it's probably out in the States before it comes out in England?}

Daniel Craig looks okay so far, on the trailers and the news +I love the way they take the piss out of and modify the previous 20 movies.

My dad looked liked JB.  My mates when I was 13 thought I was his daughter.

The movie you wanna see with Daniel Craig is "The Mother"  [You need time to do this one, it stays with you for a few days].

When Daniel was 9, the family would move to Hoylake, on the west coast of the Wirrel, looking out over Liverpool Bay. Here, having failed his 11-Plus, he was sent to a tough secondary modern. At Hilbre High School at nearby West Kirby (other former pupils include cyclist Chris Boardman and pop stars The Coral and Orchestral Manoevres In The Dark) he played rugby (he also played for Hoylake Rugby Club), supported the then near-invincible Liverpool FC and joined in with the school's plays, taking the lead in Oliver, Romeo And Juliet and Cinderella. Academically, however, he was not a good student. This is not to say he was disinterested as he reacted well when his mother (who'd get remarried to the artist Max Blond) fed his imagination with literature. Indeed, having received Ted Hughes' Crow on his 10th birthday, he would even sneak into a local girls' grammar school to hear

Me too, although I'm older than you and grew up with Sean Connery.

all Roger Moore did was playact.  He moved his eyes about alot.  Sorry, I reckon Sir Roger (although I love him), was the worst James Bond.

Loving Daniel Craig.  Have you found that lowbudget movie I told you about yet, the one where he first takes his kit off?  It's called The Mother.  It's scary.

Haha, brilliant. Must be the first time you made a decent post.

Just saw the movie yesterday. I liked it a lot. More realistic/hardcore bond.
Without all the gadgets and oneliners. I think this is the best bond movie, and he's the best bond.

They focus a lot on his body as well, lol. I was thinking, here he is, half-naked again,  :).

Like Layer cake this new Bond was gritty, much more than the previous Bond's, and Bond actually has some character this time! (Instead of the flat character it normally is)
