Title: Any ideas on this bicep problem?
Post by: Old_Rooster on November 29, 2006, 07:06:15 AM
I have absolutely zero pain in my bicep but I have lost half my strength in my right bicep, it just feels like it will not fire anymore.  I have an appointment with a doctor that trains in my gym who does pain management, he asked if I have neck pain and I admit I feel as if I have a constant crick in my neck.   He thinks he can inject something like cortizone some area in my neck to alleviate the problem.  Another guy in my gym said he had a problem like that and he put himself in traction every night for like 3 months at home and fixed the problem.

I've just never had anything like this, seems like an injury with no pain.  I can curl a 55 pound db with my left arm for like 10 to 12 reps and I can barely use a 30 pound db on my right side currently.
And absolutely no way I can train biceps on back day, after i'm done with back, my right bicep will not fire at all.

I guess age is catching up with me and I hate it.  Thats why my name here is OLD rooster.
