It is an interesting read from one of the most the successful socialist government in the Western world.

In the 1944 election, the Saskatchewan CCF, led by premier Tommy Douglas, swept to power, forming the first socialist government in North America. The CCF/NDP has governed the province with only two interruptions (1964-71 and 1982-91) since 1944.

No matter what those "socialists" claim, they are all liberals, to some degree, since they subscribe to democracy.
To use socialism as inspiration for governing is one thing, but Saskachewan still has its foundation in liberalism.
IMO, they're social-liberals, heavily influenced by socialism.

Depending on the brand of socialism, it can be liberal.
