Post by: NoCalBbEr on December 10, 2006, 02:24:46 PM
hey guys
not to   take advice from the brit show. But i was wondering, is an active rest week  a good thing or just a waste of time?   the way they did it was five  werm ups and one max out set..

 thanks

p.s. its a funny show more then anything. no not the jokes. but how un-bbers they are..

I'm confused by this post.  Active rest week you mean a break?  If so it depends on how long you have been training without a break.  A break of a week with just some running every 3 months seems to do me a lot of good.

Just relax. Take one or two short walks if you feel like it.

Hang back, get mentally and physically re-focused. Enjoy the results.

Heal up.

Depends on the person,

some people feel revived after a week of training, other can't miss a day and get withdrawal symptoms after a couple days without training.

Yes. I may eat slightly less, since my expandure is less.

But the diet is just as clean.
