1) He saves their ass for the 15-game Carmelo abscense with his immediate impact and early willingness to impress.

melo is to young to play team ball, his trying to compete with Wade and Lebron, at least if he leads the league in scoring he can claim that, and iverson is a shocking playmaker look at the 2003 USA team in Athens.

If they can make Iverson play team-ball, it will turn out great.
Let Mello be the star, 30 points a game.
Unfortunately Iverson will dominate this team, and i think it will hurt Carmello's game.
Plus he don't like to train, so he could a negative impact on the team overall.

Mello, Iverson are both ball hogs. Iverson, I think just plays to keep himself from being bored. He is bored with his job, no passion for the game, you can see it in his eyes. Mello might be the leagues leading scorer, but that is not saying much when the league has such mediocre talent. (The US not getting the Gold)
Well, Mello got some 'splaining to do here in Baltimore. Right before his brawl, he just opened a brand new Rec center, so kids wouldn't be doing violent acts in the streets. ::) ::). Yeah quite the role model..especially him being featured on the "Stop Snitching" DVD from a couple years ago.
