At least today, one of 'em called and apologized for threatening suicide :-\

Well, I used to...until I lost a part of my family. 
Now I just look and say ... ya, they're weird, but they're all mine.  ;D

I only say that about 1/2 of my family.  They are pretty southern and a little sslllloooowwww.  But like Cheri said....

they are all mine and I wouldnt trade any of them.  I just realize why I was always the "black sheep" and could not wait to get out of Georgia.

It just sucks being so far away from the craziness...you need them to make you feel sane. ;D

This is ironic......be glad you have em.  Got a call last night (Christmas eve night), my 1st cousin was found dead yesterday morning (the morning of Christmas eve).  Got drunk and drowned in his own puke.......we were the only two males left in the family to carry on the family name......now its just me....if your into that geneaology s**t.

Can they be f**ked up drunks, yeah.  But their still your blood.

Not weird. Just boring.

My grandfather sometimes tells a cool story. Like about WW2, or about his time in Africa (my grandparents had a farm in Congo for a couple of years till they had to flee).

But usually i'm bored and uncomfortable. Can't really relate to any of them.
