No, between prejudging and the night show, usually right after prejudging before the judges tally the scores!

Are you insinuating that this is the reason why guys like Dillet and Ronnie, couldn't care less about putting out a good posing routine, since they've already done "their job" backstage?

sport
–noun
1.   an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc.

Skill is posing, physical prowess is how you look compared to others.

I also agree, it's a sport, but the guidelines aren't strict enough to compare it to most sports. Maybe competition is a better word.

Oh My God, TRUTH IN COMPETITIVE BODYBUILDING...we can't have that!!!

Look out now, next thing we know someone will post the monstrous, laundry-list, illegal, drug stacks taken by some top competitive BBers (who swear  in the muscle mags. they ONLY take dem heavily advertised BB food supplements!)...why, maybe even we'll get the names of those BBers who "deal" on the side, as well??!

Gee gollies, the possibility of getting all of this additional truth in BB, besides just the names of those top BBers that BJ/fvck the judges before or after pre-judging to enhance their contest placing...whew, I better sit down so I can recover!

Hmmm.......like Rodney doens't do his "stripping" on stage. he does all his moves, just as any stripper does, just while wearing a thong. I'm sure if the IFBB allowed him to, he'd do it in the nude.........

As far as Kamali goes, he may as well be a "full-time" guest poser. He looks like shit everytime, so he needs the gadgets to detract attention from his shitty physique.

And as far as Rodney stripping.......I thought there was something in the rulebook about protecting the image of the "sport"......shouldn't he be sanctioned or suspended, according to the rule book he should!

Hey now. You know that logic doesn't apply to pro bbing. What's next, get rid of the drugs.......... ::)

Anyone who says Bodybuilding is NOT a sport has never participated. Yeah all you wannabees kiss my ass and the asses of all the other pro's and semi pro's ahead of you. We train harder and diet harder than you could possible imagine. Most of you would crack under the stress. You couldn't put you ho hos AND DING DONGS DOWN FOR A WEEK, MUCH LESS FOR MONTHS to train and diet for a show. You think we just take steroids and look so good? We have to WORK HARD for those physiques. They are not handed to us. I for one, am not ashamed of what I look like, I'm in the top 100 female bodybuilders today and probably in the top 50 as far as size. God bless all the other women who I model my physique after.  Gayle Mohr, Mah-Ann Mendoza, Heather Policky, Sheila Bleck, These women are of the highest caliber, and I hope to join ranks with them this year. The men who put us down for being the complete packages we are, are only jealous that they could never achieve what we have. Feast on that haters...

You know nothing about me. I don't use any form of test, and I have all these people trashing me over a bad pic. Everyone can have a bad pic... BuffGoddess, it's great that a highly-disciplined (uhhh...you BB flamin' morons try dieting for a contest like these FBBers do!), dedicated, accomplished, COMPETITIVE FBBer, like yourself, has the THICK SKIN, and good sense of humor, to take the never-ending insults from these IGNORANT of female BB MORONS and dish it back to them!!

Most intelligent women who have CLASS, like yourself, are too-sensitive to try and trade flames with these crude, IGNORANT, Neanderthals!

Is competitive BB a sport as well as an art (it DEFINITELY is a beautiful art...particularly FBB!)?

Well, BB may a sport as well!?

Looks like I may need to "retrench"?

I say this because I recall seeing one Olympic sporting event where women were merely slowly walking around gracefully in a swimming pool, with water up to their waistlines, "posing" in what look like a series of ballet stances/positions.  If the IOC classifies this event as a "sport", then certainly competitive BB is one as well!!

But just think "Squaddy", natural weight-training BBers, like Mr. I and BuffGoddess, will STILL be BB in their 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's...while drug-bloated FREAKS like you will be WORM MEAT by your 50's...but, hey it's all worth it isn't...cuz you got dem 23" inch guns...got to weigh 300 drug-bloated pounds...and got to bench-bump 600 lbs....man, that's worth poor health and cutting your life span approximately in half isn't it???!

Sounds like you have a grudge against drug-using BBers, Richard. They're just like naturals, except they want to be the best they can be at whatever cost. That's the love for the sport.

Some people (well, most guys here) think BuffGoddess looks like a freak - much like your view of IFBBers. It's just one person's opinion and it really doesn't matter much to anyone but ourselves.

Hello.....

Uhhh...where I'm "havin' the problem" is with the drug-taking, STRICTLY RECREATIONAL, BBer (uhhh..i.e. the ones that DON'T compete AT ALL!), and who are too fvckin' insecure, lazy, stupid, etc., to train naturally and PATIENTLY to build their size/strength; so as to maintain their PRICELESS health and natural lifespan potential.

It's these "juiced-to-the-gills", non-competing, MORONS that are always flamin' the natural BBers leaner physiques on these boards...which are still muscular and "more normal-looking"...instead of looking like some drug-bloated, cartoon-character, Frankenstein, FREAK!
