Matt talks Fedor on TJ de Santis.The fight is official.Both parties verbaly agreed, just working on details and getting ready to sign the appers any moment.MAtt says he is going for the win.He also talks his debut in HW and his next fight gainst Carlos Newton.

Fedor will win for sure! Lidland is absolutely no match for Fedor! But I would like to see a Fedor vs Monson fight... That would be interesting...

Im just wondering if the guy has fucking mental problems though, why the hell would you want to fatten up and then take on Fedor........infact why would you want to fight him at all? It wont be pretty for him if Fedor decides to beat him up for a while

Matt is great at stuffing a good striker, entering the clinch and dirty boxing. David Terrell caught Matt while he tried entering, and Fedor has MUCH MORE power than the Soul Assasin. I see Fedor by TKO.

according to the rumors he won't bulk up too much.....he'll be probably fighting around 200 - 210 lbs.The difference is not that big - Fedor has 20 - 30 lbs on MAtt, and both stand at 6' tall

thats still an extra 35 lbs he will have on him and its not going to be anywhere near all muscle. I think hes just wanting to test himself, but for god sake why test yourself up 2 weight classes against the best fighter in the world? If he can manage to be in moderately good shape then he will hopefully leave a good account of himself. I dont think ive ever seen him completely outclassed - maybe the Bustamante fight was the closest to it, but if he comes in looking like Tyson did against lennox then hes basically fucked

That said, other than a freak injury, it's impossible to imagine any scenario in which Lindland wins this fight.

Wake up... Emelianenko will "terminate" this guy, about his weight he will be around 107kgs, definetly not a lightweight.

His most comfortable and natural fighting weight was 185, now it doesnt matter how long hes taking to get to 210 but that IS an extra 35lbs no matter how you look at it. Im sure even he realises hes not going to win

I dont think a true fighter would ever believe that they will lose. There's always a fighters chance that you could catch your opponent with that ONE.... So im sure lindland believes he has some kind of a chance. Why would you willingly sign up to be beat down.... That said it might be obvious to everyone the outcome of the fight, but to the fighter he always has a chance...

im sure he thinks he can win - BUT he knows somewhere within himself that he will lose. Its not always about winning, its about testing yourself to see how far you can go. The money will be a great thing too

NOBODY who has made it to top in his career as an athlete ( Olympic medal) EVER has any doubts in mind of loosing!

if this was on UFC PPV everyone would be complaining about what a lame matchup it is, but i guess Fedor really doesn't have anyone left to fight right now

He wrestled in the 2000 Olympics at 167lbs. Unless he dropped down two weight classes like the guy did in the movie "Vision Quest" he's not that big of a guy. Then again, he might be getting a little "help" putting on some bulk.

You're all over the place. In one post you say his off-season weight is 200; in another, he's fighting at 205.
I think your first post is correct. His off-season is 200, and his natural fighting weight is in the 180s, unless he gets some "Help"
