will this guy be there also?
This is true - this is going to be a great interview!
7 Time Mr. Olympia Visits “Pro Bodybuilding Weekly”
After winning re-election as California’s high-profile leader, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger takes a break from politics for a journey back to his days when victories came on a bodybuilding stage. In a Special Presentation of “Pro Bodybuilding Weekly”, the 7-time Mr. Olympia champ joins Dan Solomon and Bob Cicherillo for a memorable edition of bodybuilding talk radio on Monday, February 12th.
Solomon explains, “Since we launched the show back in 2005, we’ve received countless requests from listeners who want to hear directly from the Governor. We are honored that he accepted our invitation.”
One of the most recognizable men in the world, Schwarzenegger will be the 6th Olympia champion to visit PBW. Earlier this year, the popular one-hour show joined Sirius Satellite Radio and American Forces Radio to emerge as bodybuilding’s most wide reaching media outlet. The show also airs on the affiliated stations of the Sports Byline USA broadcast Network and online at Bodybuilding.com, the world’s # 1 most visited bodybuilding website. Should be good. Don't f**k it up, Bob and Dan.
BOB: Let me ask you, Arnold. Now back in the day when you were winning your string of Mr. Olympia titles, there really wasn't anyone who posed that much of a threat to you.
ARNOLD: I remember that Lou Ferrigno...
BOB: But if you jump ahead to the 90s, the competition really becomes unreal. You've got Paul DeMayo, Chris Cormier, all those guys. Wouldn't you agree that it would have been much harder to win a pro card at that point?
ARNOLD: Well, if you look at...
BOB: I mean it's not even close. And then you've got the Internet with dumbasses like a certain jerkoff in Florida making cracks all the time. Anyone would have a hard time nabbing that elusive pro card, wouldn't you say?
ARNOLD: I'm not sure what this has to do with...
BOB: I'm sorry, Arnold. I'm afraid we've run out of time. I'm sorry that we didn't get a chance to talk about your steroid use... I know you were looking forward to a chance to put that on the record. But it's been an honor to have you on the show and I hope you'll be able to make it back sometime.
ARNOLD: Unfortunately, my doctors have said that...
BOB: I'd like to thank Dr. Navarro's Cosmetic Vein Removal Center for making it possible to bring you this no-holds-barred interview with the Austrian Oak...
This is true - this is going to be a great interview!

Ron ask them if they could get me in that show at the same time. I have many unaswered questions for Arnold!
You know - I checked your request out - but did you know that they have a "Do Not Talk To" List, and you are right at the top of that. Unfortunately, you won't be on that show."Ronowned" ;D

You know - I checked your request out - but did you know that they have a "Do Not Talk To" List, and you are right at the top of that. Unfortunately, you won't be on that show. But hey, give me a question that you want them to ask, and perhaps, they will ask it for you.
Like having them ask him to say "I'll be back". Like having them see if he can mimick Joe Weider like he has done in the past. Like having him actually talk about the Arnold Classic, which will be 2-3 weeks after his appearance.
also, shadow's posts in this thread should be removed and he should be prevented from further posts...arnold hates little annoying mud dwellers like him as much as we doshut your piehole sir dick idol
Bumps

1. Ask him if he would Trade his 1970-1975 physique for Jay Cutler`s current physique?
2. What do you think of the look that Today`s bodybuilders are bringing to the stage?
3. Why do you think Bodybuilding is not a prolific, money generating enterprise?
4. How can we change bodybuilding to make it more acceptable, marketable, profitable and credible?
5. Where do you see Bodybuilding headed without the Weiders?
6. Will bodybuilding survive the next 10 years?
Ron ask them if they could get me in that show at the same time. I have many unaswered questions for Arnold!Yes ALEXXX get those unaswered questions answered big cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahah..yeah, ok.. as much as I love Jay... Bwahahhaha.. you think Arnie would trade perfection for a big GH guy and dsitended stomach?!!!
Yes ALEXXX get those unaswered questions answered big cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jay has a distended stomach now?
lets see some pics...

Jay has a distended stomach now?
No, but Arnold's 1975 body was perfection, geez they even put him in the Guiness book of world records as having the most perfect physique in the world..
Bodybuilding history credits Arnold's FIRST contest as being the 1965 Jr. Mr. Europe when in fact he had done several shows in local hotels and bars.
Ask him if he has fond memories of those VERY FIRST shows he did with Kurt Marnul and the others.
hmm interesting. I hope the pair has enough balls to ask him that.
Well, it's not like it would be a derogatory question.
Some how I doubt Arnold wants to talk about that.
Well, it would be cool to hear Arnold talk about his VERY FIRST experience of stepping on stage at those hotels and bars.

Ask Arnie, what was the hoo-haa with his "conversation" backstage with Mentzer all about during the 80 O, find out also if he had arranged with Waller to have "his back" should the incident have turned nasty?
Ask Arnie, what was the hoo-haa with his "conversation" backstage with Mentzer all about during the 80 O
Out of respect for Mike Mentzer's death, who can't defend himself, I HIGHLY doubt that would EVER be discussed again -- at least not from Arnold's point of view.
Yeah, the Gropinator is a really classy guy. ::)

Towards women? No...
Towards the dead? Who the hell knows...
I didn't know if it was ever "discussed"- anyway just throwin it out there.
How about dead women? :)
I assume you don't have the old back issue muscle magazines.
Naa, I don't hang on to them, not that far back..
No that far back???
We're only talkin' the 1980's here.
Yeah that was only like 20+ years ago, you know the same decade I was born in, I sure he has kept them all this time ::)
I'd like to know if Weider ever got scared that he had created a monster, and tried to drag Arnold back down in any way when he saw Arnold slipping away. Was there tension between them as Arnold's star was on the rise, and if so how did they resolve it?
This makes no sense. The bigger a star Arnold became, the more copies of Flex Joe could sell by putting Arnold's picture in them.
True. Arnold's increasing fame undoubtedly helped Joe line his pockets. I get the impression, however, that Mr. Weider prefers to lord it over "his boys." Ask Serge Nubret, Lee Priest, etc.
What I'm really asking is - did they reach some sort of mutual blackmail agreement at some point and agree to go their separate ways? The way I worded it in the last post is far more likely to get asked though.
What I'm really asking is - did they reach some sort of mutual blackmail agreement at some point and agree to go their separate ways?
Bingo, but AVBG is probably right. Doesn't matter how delicately it's worded.
How about:
1. Is there anyone in particular you'd like to thank for your success, whether in bodybuilding, Hollywood, or politics?
2. Why has bodybuilding become such a villified fringe pursuit when it could have become the world's #1 path to healthy living?
3. What are your views on the future of bodybuilding and it's judging standards?
Answer to question one is easy... Arnold.
Without Arnold's shadow casting over Franco, he'd be nothing.
He may have had another 4-5 Sandows under his belt if not for Arnolds "shadow"....
There were many Olympia which came down to Franco (short clas winner) and Arnold (tall class winner)...in which Arnold won every match-up.I dont know all my Olympia history perfectly so correct me if Im wrong but Serge Nubret (IMO) would smoke Franco anyday of the week. Franco did have a back from another universe when you look at the physiques in that time frame but Serge Nubret was more solid than Franco, also Robby Robinson, and even Frank Zane. Franco won as many Olympias as he should have IMO.
The Tall class simply wasnt that good...or deep...Arnold winning uncontested in a few.
There is no doubt Franco would have won in Arnolds absence.

Nubret was great, but had many weaknesses...
Bob, what question are you most anxious to ask Arnold?

TOP TEN REASONS TO LISTEN TO ARNOLD INTERVIEW ON PBW
1. Still wondering how much he can bench.
2. Want to know if he banged that midget with three tits in 'Total Recall'
3. Dying to know if he really drank beer to prep for his contest prep.
4. Hoping he'll reveal steroid cycle for 1974 Olympia.
5. Waiting for stories about him and Ted Kennedy going out drinking.
6. Wondering what Arnold's take on the Lou Ferrigno $10 photo policy is.
7. Can't wait for a caller to tell him he could have done better than Maria.
8. To see if Guiness Record for 'Most Ass Kissing in Ten Minutes' is broken.
9. Curious to see if Arnold knows who Jay Cutler is.
10. Playing new drinking game that revolves around counting how many times the phrase "Back in the Day" is used.
Special "Considah dat ah dee-voss" Ed
I pray I get to meet him in Columbus!
Be on the expo floor Saturday between 1pm-3pm and you will. He comes out to make his rounds usually around those times.
I want to get a picture though...
bump
If you're talkin' of getting a picture of Arnold and you together, forget it.
Getting a picture of JUST Arnold along with a handshake -- very likely.
Getting a picture of Arnold and you with him saying "cheese" -- very unlikely.
Never say never!
Never say never!
I like your attitude, Keith. But don't get these high hopes because the chance of Arnold and you getting a picture together like you're all chummy is virtually slim to none if you're just a spectator.
Here's a lil' tip...
When Arnold begins walking the expo floor DO NOT follow him. Instead, "plan" Arnold's next move as to which area he'll be at next. Obviously you won't be reading his mind but you'll get a good feel as to where he's going.
Once you figure that out, go to that particular area. You may be the only one in that area standing alone, but that's OK -- everyone else will be following behind him. Before you know it, with his entourage/fans following behind, Arnold will soon be walking towards YOU! Get your picture and shake The Oak's hand. I have done this "maneuver" many times and it works like a charm. Good luck, Keith, and get ready for a HUGE rush when Arnold comes walking towards you. 8)
I will be there for PBW. So work plus spectating.
Ask him one political question:
Will the government stay out of the supplement business, or am I going to have to go to Mexico to pick up Creatine with my other gear?
PLEASE DO NOT ask Arnold any political bullshit questions.
The question is when will the great champion Alexxx be officially passed the torch from Arnold? ;D
I think a better question would be...when will Alexxx BE torched??
BB has served it's purpose in Arnies life (a vehicle for $$ and stardom) so please ask Arnold why doesn't he walk away completely from BB?
AVBG...
You're REALLY trying to add up your post count there. ::)
AVBG is the newest Fox
perhaps a shout out to the boys at GetBig
Thanks for sending over all those questions for "The Oak" -- As you can imagine, our interview with the Governor has presented more than a few challenges. We made it very clear to the Governor's office that our conversation will focus 100% on BODYBUILDING. Needless to say, its been a long time since he has gone on the air to discuss his favorite topic. We have a limited amount of time, but I can assure you 20-30 minutes of pure bodybuilding dialog with Arnold. -
No politics. No Hollywood. Just Bodybuilding (and perhaps a shout out to the boys at GetBig) Enjoy the show...

Tell Arnold there is a new king of bodybuilding! 8)
I am sure Arnold would be aware of that.. ;D
Yes you are right! ;D
YOU ARE CORRECT SIR!thanks,
Just got some of the early numbers back from the studio. As expected, the Governor draws a crowd. -- The feedback from the interview has been interesting. For the most part, bodybuilding fans enjoyed hearing the Governor re-visit his bodybuilding roots. His comments on the '80 Olympia and his impersonations & stories of Franco and Joe Weider have garnered the biggest response. OBVIOUSLY we would have loved to ask Arnold some more "envelope pushing" questions, but the realities of interviewing a "Governor" can create unavoidable challenges...and time restraints. Let's face it, Arnold could have easily declined the interview. -- Needless to say, an interview with Arnold AFTER he leaves the Governor's office will allow us to cover some far more "HOT" topics. Not to worry, as Arnold said at the close of his interview, He'll be back.
