That would be a good fight to watch. I think Crocop would win though.

Well at least there's a chance we'll see Randy vs Crocop in the future  :)

I remember Mirko saying in an interview that he doesn't have any desire to cut to 205 and that it would take a lot out of him doing it. He's pretty must muscle as it is. Would be fun to see, though.

I would see no reason for him to cut to 205 considering his bf% and how he dominated the openweight grand prix. The man is an absolute beast right around 225-230. He would destroy Chuck and Randy. I dont see any of those fights really leaving the first round.

no chance, hes a natural HW fighter and if he did cut the weight i think he would struggle in the same way Roy Jones Jr did when he fought Tarver the first time

I'm sure he could cut the weight in no time using the Adonis Principles

Why was crocop brought into the UFC?

Yeah I don't see him leaving the heavyweights anytime soon.

Well UFC is where it's at right now. They signed Rampage and CroCop - Pride signed Wes Sims and Frank Trigg (old UFC leftovers)

There's some TERRIBLE matchups next for Pride.

will you get over it. Ok they signed Simms and Trigg but look at the roster of fighters they have. Theres no comparison

UFC is going in the right direction. Pride is not.

Making 1 excellent signing in Crocop doesnt mean theyre going in the right direction. Who else have they got? Herring has unfortunately fallen a mile short of the hype at the bell, and Rampage isnt half the fighter he once was otherwise he wouldnt have been given a win against Linland. You will see him exposed if he gets in with Chuck. You base this assumption on 1 signing when Pride STILL have an army of fighters that would rape the best the UFC has to offer outside of Crocop and Chuck. One for the future is Michael Bisping but he needs 5-6 fights until he really establishes himself

UFC are doing so much right, right now. They've come along way those last couple of years. Pride on the other hand, are in trouble. Losing Cro Cop is bad, real bad. They only had 2 names that big. Fedor being the other one. MMA is growing in America. And with that interest comes the $$$. I wouldn't be surprised if UFC signs another 2-3 names in the coming months.

And there's more big names to UFC than Chuck and Cro Cop - GSP comes to mind.

what about Big Nog, you dont call him a name? He actually beat Cro Cop in their fight. Shogun also, as i said previously he will be world number 1 in 2-3 years time.

GSP yes, also Anderson Silva. But wheres the rest, and which of them can compete against the Pride champions?

Bluto, all this "Pride is in trouble" bullshit cracks me up. While UFC was in the hole the last 5-6 years, who was carrying the load? Pride was. Now the UFC has ONE good year and all of a sudden Pride is done? They signed CroCop and Rampage, and have yet to do anything since but show that Herring was a bust.  ;)

The Croatian Missile has targetted Sylvia and wants his belt.

Mirko weighed 221 when he fought Wandy.  He could make 205 if he wanted to.  I don't think he ever will, though.  Chuck is no match for Mirko.  He would have a strikers chance, but that is it.

He's a great fighter. But he's not up their with the popularity of Fedor and Cro Cop.

Peep's think the same way with fighters lol, you're the best that ever was have 2 bad fights you're a has been. The reason is, none of those people train! How do I know ??? They have no respect which means they've never been there ;) Anyone who's ever fought a serious competitive fight (and isn't ignorant)KNOWS how much gut's an dedication it takes, and will respect fighters just for stepping up to the plate.

Have respect for the things and people that make your day, and support them or, they disappear to be replaced by boring meritocracy. I've been through the same in the music and industry lol. It's like the god dam stock market, no one has a mind of there own anymore. Everyone just worries about how cool everyone else thinks it is. I thought humans where smarter than herd animals, or at least the should be this far in the game.

I an opposite opinion. I think he should gain 10 to 20lbs and mantain his speed and increase his strength, it would be an even more powerful fighter, and probably could win over Fedor. In a fighter like Mirko every pound counts!

Then He'll slow down and get tirerd faster. He fights at that wieght, cause it's the ideal wieght to fight at for his body ;) Smart fighters test thies things out trust me. and BTW coontrairy to popular belive size does not = strength and speed or else Some one like Giant Silvia or Bob Sapp would be the best fighters in the world. When I started MMA I was a BB at 235lbs and some dude who was 170lbs knocked me the f*** out now I fight at 190-200max but the ideal for me is 190 or 195 In boxing my Ideal weight is 180. Remember a split sec makes a big differance againgst a trained fighter ;) And if your untrained against some one who is, you'll last seconds.
People must remeber whatching fights is 1,000,000 times easyer than beeing in the ring, when ur in there a lot of things change in a quick hurry! I learnd this lesson the hard way.

although i think crocop could drop weight and dominate both LH and HW...I don't think that would be good for the UfC...

Hard to say when you drop too much wieght you feel like you have the flu, and you feel totaly drained at all times! Only he knows how his body will feel at that wieght.
