Lee beating Cormier at the Aussie Pro was certainly not controversial ::)

I really think TA, Alexxx, Goodrum and Daddypuddy are realy rubbing off on Bob.  He is getting as delusional as they are.  It really started after that gift win at the Masters.  Just another way the IFBB has fucked up someone.  Now they ruined our boy Bob.  And with the other retards on here spreading their infectious delusions Bob has been infected.  Sean too has been infected.  He still thinks people care about who he is.  When will this stop. :D

No...it's just you. I rarely bring up Lee if at all.

If you were actually there at the '06 IM...you would have heard half the people booing the decision as David Henry was very popular, and many believed he should have won.

If you actually listened to PBW, you would have heard me say that 50% of the audience was for Lee...50% for David...that makes it controversial IMO...and at the very least....debatable.

I think lee deserved the victory........ i agree with bob though it was controversial....... any competition that is judged leads to controversy and bob understands this look at his victory..... which i do feel he deserved

Lee lost from the back to his fellow vertically challenged foe, but I thought Lee was the deserved winner.

I like Chris Cook, but he had no business being in any place but tied for 16th at that show and the Levrone attempt at posing was terrible.

HEY!   Easy on my boy Chris.......
Do you disagree that his posing emulating Kevin didn't work for his physique and his conditioning was off?

See this is where I get to disagree with Bob.

I don't think it was controversial or debatable. I think it was just really close. They each had each other beat at certain points and I was unsure about the call at the show. But I remember going back to my hotel room that night and as I was uploading the photos to BodyBuilding.com taking a really close look. And as I did I could see how Lee came out in the number 1 spot. It gets really subjective when it is that tight and you really have to just defer to the judging. But yes it could have just as easy gone the other way.

HEY!   Easy on my boy Chris.......

LOL!

I still remember the gentle treatment he got during that Ironman webcast!
The quotes were something like:

[avoid]
"Chris' trunks look great today.  You can tell his toenails are freshly clipped.  Very good follicles too!"
[/avoid mentioning his terrible conditioning]

Mr. Chic, when it's 50/50 and someone has to win, it's not controversial.
When 20 beats 80, or 10 beats 90, then we have a controversy.
Hope that helps.

Chic, you all of people should not bring this up.
It doesnt get more controversial than your second place finish at Night of Champions or your "win" at Masters.
While I myself thought Henry should've won, it was very close and could've gone either way between those two. With your case at Masters you should've placed behind 8th place finisher. Now thats controversial. Shocking really.

Lee's win was not too hard to see IMO. David had the best back but Lee had the arms, legs, delts and I know they are fairly close in ht. and wt. but Lee just looks more muscular overall.

Go to any pro show and half the "fans" BOO the decision.  It's a judge event, thus there will always be controversy

He's the IFBB figure head, I guess he's supposed to cut Lee down...

Don't want anyone running off to the PDI do ya?

Most bodybuilders do not know how to judge bodybuilding contests. So opinions about who should have won are always going to differ. More emphasis should be placed on the training and selection of judges. Who in their right mind wants to judge contests nowadays? If the best people don't want to judge then we can't complain at the results in most contests.

As Chick has confirmed, no winner has ever complained that the contest was fixed or that the judging was bad.

LMAO !!!!!!!

Chick, I like you but your comments about Chris on the webcasts were the most biased ever  ;D

My comments were fair, and reflected his conditioning. I dont rip on anyone during a webcast...there are ways to point out the obvious without being an asshole.

The objective when giving color commentary, is to accentuate the positive while providing expert analysis...

Oh every comments were fair I agree... exept the ones about Chris.

If I remember well it went like this: "Chris is a little off tonight ( VERY OFF) but should end up in the top 10. He looks like he retains water in the back area ( Was about 4 weeks out, still a lot of fat there ). But don't count Chris out, that guy as the perfect structure to do great in futur contests ! "

thing is, Chris deserved a tied for 16 th and he never was the next big thing. I know you think conditionning should not be the main factor when you judge a physique but there is a limit about being off.

Dave and Lee was a close one, it could have gone either way.

I say it was a tie!

I gave it to lee, because he had the arms, shoulders, back and calves... Dave had the chest and Legs... it was a close one, but it was no Gift... Lee won that fair and square.

Like Ether said... if you want to talk controversy... talk about Lee's Australian Pro win... An Australian winning the Australian Pro?

Seems fishy to me.

Lee had more muscle, but Dave had more conditioning. But Lee was just a hair short behind Dave.
