20 years. After a couple of years into training,my country Malaysia hosted the World Amateur Bodybuilding competition and it was there that i first saw a very young Lee Priest in the Lightweight Category. He was 17 then but already world class.Placed fourth in that show as i recall.Watching Lee stand on that stage at a very young age had indirectly influenced me to take up bodybuilding seriously. ;D ....yup...so Lee if you're reading this...it's all your fault!! Ive been lifting for about 5 yrs. Lee I have question,Ill probably get flamed for asking but, how do you think the type of training you have done all these years will impact your quality of life, negatively, or positively, in the later years, I dont think we have seen a mass monster like yourself stay with bbing for so long give their thoughts on what happens after retirement. Drop extra weight? Maintain? Im sure youve worked around your share of injuries. lemme know if ya dont mind.

27 years and if the lord is willing till I'm a old man and die.I love lifting weights.

I think the key to lifting weights for years is the constants goal you set for yourself. I mean really who wants to lift 5x week, eat the same tasteless food everyday? It is rewarding but also gets boring once you reach your peak, then it's time to find the next goal!
