i've heard of several fighters who sustain massive injury and come back to win the fight ala forrest getting his arm broken and winning the fight with other arm...

anyone have vids of this kind of stuff?

Not a massive injury but a hell of a lot of heart, check out Smith's condition after the fight...

Can't find vids but Josh Neer had a couple of sweet UFC comebacks...

1)  Getting beat like hell by Melvin Guillard, bleeding like crazy, sinks in a triangle and gets the tap

2)  In a nasty anklelock from Joe Stevenson, supposedly has his ACL torn, and comes back to beat the hell out of Joe Daddy and take the decision

In this fight, Nate Marquardt vs. Kazuo Misaki (Pride WW grand prix champion), Marquardt slams Misaki and breaks his arm and Misaki still manages to get up and throw a kick before it is stopped.

Talk about alot of heart. Misaki broke his arm in late March and came back to fight in September. He won his next 4 out of 5 fights too.

I loved when Bas Ruten got his nose broken and continued to fight and win the UFC light heavyweight belt against Randleman! that was something else!

i think fedors nose was broken when he beat mirko, i could be wrong though

i've fought with a broken nose.

it's not that bad with the adrenaline flowing and a good corner can usually put it back into place.

the next day it can be very tender though (depending on severity) and there's no way i'm even thinking about sparring for at least a week.

It also depends how many times it's been broken, the more it happens the less big a deal it is.

Yes, I have a friend with 150+ pro fights, and he's had his nose broken 16 times.
