Berry was a legend who had a Vic type of breakout year in 88 when placed third in the O.. Shortly there after Berry had a training injury which resulted in a pec tear and was never the same again.

Barry was top 6 at the olympia in 85, 86, 87 and finally 3rd in 88. He placed really well in the grand prix after that olympia. I think he only placed low at the 85 NOC or something like that. He tore a pec and failed the drug test for the 90 olympia then jumped ship over to the WBF, I think he did ok at those shows. He came back at one of the NOC's and looked really good, the article I have says he got shafted and it's from Flex and then he dropped out of site...the NOC was the one that Porter Cottrel won..94 maybe?

He always looked good but I wouldn’t want to be even this big. It’s inconsistent with the lifestyle I live.

Berry is an icon from a great era in BB history. I have been in corresponding with Berry recently. He is doing well and celebrating his 45th birthday this month. He looks great and is very proud of his family. He has a 12 year old daughter and has been with his wife Marja since 1985. His brother Jorgen lives in the states and trains many Hollywood celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Jeremy Irons, Jerry Bruckheimer etc. I will send Berry the link to this thread to see if he has something he'd like me to post on his behalf. I told Berry he has many fans that would love to hear from him but Berry prefers not to post in forums.

one of the 80's best,great leg's.88 o was conditioned to bone,lower back was crazy.not thick enough to topple haney though.looked good during return mid nineties was at his biggest but lost that hard conditioning.
