Does anyone know the story on Geir Paulsen?  Stats?  I saw his record on musclememory.  Is he done competing?  Any old or recent pix of him?  Did he ever have a website or appear in any videos?

Not much else other than the fact he was robbed when Don Youngblood received the Masters O as an early Christmas present.

He and Vince should have battled it out for first spot.

It was always close between Vince, Don, and Geir.  I don’t think it’s fair to say he was robbed.  I think his back held him back... he had a great torso, but Don's back was much thicker.

I agree - Geir Paulsen looked huge and defined. Would be interesting to know if he still would compete now.

Given the way he looked just a few years ago, he’d surely be competitive in any master’s show.  Too bad he didn’t show up for that bizarre Masters Professional World Championship last year.

Geir works and trains at my gym (Harald`s in Oslo). He has retired from competing, I think he is 50 now(?) But he still trains and he looks fit and healthy, still carrying significant muscle mass.

Here is my contest review of the 2002 Masters Olympia.  I thought the judges got it right at this show for the top three places.  That's just my personal view.
