If the President announces in advance [through his chosen mouthpiece] that he will not be bound by Congressional legislation, on what basis can we pretend that we're not in the middle of a full-blown coup-d'etat?

The moment the U.S. Supreme Court tells one side or the other they are wrong and that side refuses to abide by the Supreme Court's decision.
