yeah too warm, feet get all sweaty! >:(

Buy some decent hiking-shoes or better safety-shoes. Don't buy anything with soft (running) shoes or worse, shoes with airblocks-gel. Alternatives like nike shox are also horrible. These type of shoes can cause serious injuries if you train heavy.

Ronnie puts his boots on when he's about to train legs! 8)

The Adidas weightlifting shoes are the best kind.
The harder the sole, the better.
You don't want some kind of jogging "Air Nike" shoe when squatting.
And no, the "tough" looking army boots are bullshit as well.
Why?
Because they are made to walk in, meaning they don't have a flat sole, they "roll".
Get some kind of Adidas Olympic Weightlifting shoe, and you'll thank me forever.

workboots/combat boots actually are meant to be really stable, the don't roll. They are meant to carry a load in a straight line, but I hate having a heel in a workout shoe so I stick with chucks

Interesting, I lift in Nike Air Max TL's which have the air sole running under the entire shoe. Methinks I should start squatting and deadlifting barefoot. :o

Chucks really are God's gift to squatting. I've got a pink pair...to go with my pink underoos, naturally.
