I can usually avoid the sickness if I basically skip my pre-workout meal only on leg day. I've found if I eat a normal meal 1 to 2 hours before legs, I won't make it to the end. For me, I'll just have a shake, or just a yogurt 1.5 hours before the gym, and usually I'll have plenty of energy. It's like I can't digest food and work out hard at the same time. This is just food for thought! ha ha.

The bodys "systems" have a higher archy if you will. And digestive ALWAYS trumps muscular.

The only thing that happens to me is I get light-headed...assumbably from all the blood in the stomach?
I also think the up and down motion of squats, lunges, jumping...can increase nausea

I agree. I went so far to try some Dramamine before the workout. The first time I did that, I had a sweet workout, and thought I found the miracle. But next time, not so lucky. Like I said, I've found that I need very little in my tank on the leg day. I'm fine with that.

You're not the first to have a Bring Your Own Bucket (BYOB) leg day... Derik Farnsworth swears by them

ive never actualy thrown up,,, ive felt like lyin down and sleeping at times, yawning etc.... seen stars afew times too, usualy from leg press or hacks

If BigPoppaJ wasn't away in the army right now, he'd have something to say about this. He always tells me, a leg workout isn't a leg workout unless you puke at the end.

Iv had the light headed feeling and seeing black spots lol, but no puking (touch wood).
