im sure it looks great tucked into your belted jeans along with your crew cut and mustache. just make sure you spend the requisite half hour walking around the locker room naked and not a minute less.

You may want to just actually workout rather than
Prance and strut and skip around the gym.
You'll get the blood flowing, hence not cold no more.

When I was 18 I tried to wear flannel like the guys int he magazine. What a shitty workout. I was itchy, hot as shit and just plain uncomfortable. What a tool!

I don't blame you all. I would say the same shit if I didn't know the fella who posted this. but I don't have a mustache, wear jeans, or walk around wasting time. Hey, it's a blizzard here, I thought I'd start my first and only silly thread. don't hate.

Every new kid who climbs up to the Getbig clubhouse gets razzed and shoved at first.
It's just the culture here. :)

Flannel huh? I'd love to hear your stance on gay marriage.
-
Gay marriage? I don't care. Oh, I think Tom Prince used to wear it too. I totally agree that there is just some stuff you shouldn't wear to the gym, but a ratty flannel is the least one to get bothered by. IMO of course. Those big-ass Otomix boots are dumb, unless you are sponsored by them, or are a pro.

I took a football recruitment trip to NU/Linclon after my high school playing days. We had to give a letter of intent before a nearing deadline. So the rush was on. We SoCal kids liked the training center (biggest weight room/barn/hangar for any Division I school (at that time) and a great indoor training field). The weather should have been fairly nice and predictable that time of year, but it rained and was cold the whole time. Would have given my left nut for some flannel that time. We all just packed mostly shorts and jeans. Dress stuff for the recruitment gathering/party, but that was no help. So if flannel helps jdooly get in a ball busting workout, good for him.
Side bar: Omaha had some pretty good steak houses, that I remember. And they kind of looked the other way when we order beer with the meals. The hostess (?) were not half bad either. People very friendly back there.....Go Big Red! Though none of us signed a letter to play there.
