I like Steve because he thought all my work was hillarious.

The others at MD were scared of me.

You almost have it right.  EVERYONE at MD thought you were hilarious, as in stupid as hell.  No one there takes you seriously.  Can't you see that.  I guess not.

work- stealing the ideas and thoughts of other people and claiming that they are his.

I agree, but thats where MD missed a great opportunity for the average gym rat.. Instead of promoting guys who were already borderline national physiques they should have pushed the comp for the unknown trainer who posts on the boards, that would have captured the imagination of the people.

I heard that many who entered were going to be competing at the ASC amatuer comp anyway.. so whats the point?

If they get their paws on the guy now... they can sign him to a deal CHEAP before he realizes he can make more elsewhere?

I dunno... just a thought.

The guys looked great, no doubt, but I actually think I liked last years getbig guys as far as your normal gym goers... It had a better feel to it in my book.

These guys can go on any stage almost anywhere and win... This was just a way to make some money.

Tu, MD are tighter than fishes assholes.. They wouldn't be paying the big bucks to "their athletes" anyway.... My point is they already are on the CHEAP

They had it on an actual stage with tan and guys like Flex and Polumbo there aswell? Beats the hell outta Mr. GetBig! :)

Question: who were the judges?

I don't think the fact it was on a stage is the point...

First off... it was a cyber contest... That would mean "online". So the stage part doesn't matter.

Secondly, the point I was making was that these guys most likely already compete, they just don't get paid for it... The getbig contest had real people, not your NPC level compitetor, competing... I thought it made for a better all around idea...

That's all I'm saying.

True, I forgot about the cyber part. Defeats the purpose a bit by having it on stage.

I agree about them being possible competitors, but I don't see that as a problem, as in the Mr. GetBig you had at least three competitors. I get what you're saying about the idea, but my previous statement kind of nullifies your point. Maybe there should be two categories for the next Mr. GetBig next time - competitors and non competitors.

I can agree with that... seperate the two.

I like the idea that your average gym goer can make a run at the getbig... that's all.
