Sports Illustrated has added a story today on their website concerning the recent allegations of steroid/HGH sales at Florida's Palm Beach Rejuvenation Center. The story broke last week after several professional athletes were listed as customers. In today’s article the story lists Kurt Angle as a new name added to the list of people being investigated. The article states:
"Kurt Angle, a 1996 Olympic gold-medal-winning freestyle wrestler and now a star professional wrestler, received two prescriptions for trenbolone and one for nandrolone between October 2004 and February '05. (Angle did not return messages left with his spokesman.)"
Both trenbolone and nandrolone are anabolic steroids and during the time of receiving these prescriptions he was under contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Who would have suspected that a guy who travels 250 days a year and is always in fantastic condition would have ' chemical support."

How could he get a prescription for tren when it is not a human steroid? I thought the only human version was parabolan which was discontinued long ago ???
-
Jose Canseco, the retired major leaguer and an admitted steroid user, received somatropin, testosterone, stanozolol and HCG, as well as 340 syringes, in 2004. The shipment to his California residence was arranged through the same defunct antiaging clinic that Matthews allegedly patronized. (Canseco did not return calls seeking comment.)
Wasn't he belittling others for this in 2004?

Looks like those millionaire athletes are hogging the best gear for themselves.

Where in the hell is he getting his human grade Tren from???...I can get some from overseas, but it isn't allowed to even be brought into the U.S. So how were they pulling off selling it at a rejuvenation center in the U.S.?????....Sounds to me like they were brewing their own shit to sell....Either that, or the press is full of shit as always ::)

friend of mine with loose connections to Da Biz told me what's up with angle. apparently when he hurt his neck a while ago he had some severe nerve damage and he frequently starts to lose feeling in his hands. that's why his arms atrophied. and he got dropped by WWE because he has a painkiller addiction, the guy has no setting between "off" and "high", he refused to take it easy.

I heard from a wrestling buddy that kurt takes up to 50 perkocet's a day just to function...
oh and regarding the tren, I'm guessing the health clinic had a compounding lab working for them (they can make pretty much anything)

I heard the exact same thing. It's always 150% all the time, even if it's a little house show Kurt goes out there and goes nuts. I guess that's cool that he will do that for the fans but it's tearing him up. I also heard he was released by the WWE for his own good and people who heard of him going right to TNA immediatly tagged him for being dead real soon.
-
well you gotta think, the guy was a gold medal olympic wrestler. he didn't get there by being prudent. and it's definitely cool from a fan perspective to know that he'll never half ass it. but it's really putting him in extreme danger.
-
You can tell he juices he has "Mower" neck and arms. ;D
-
mower?
-
def forehead changed, as well as his jaw.

Don't see how they could have prescribed him tren since it is not for human use in the US. It's sad that just because you are a well known athlete that your medical records can be thrown around for the world to see. :-[

Well it's not to hard to dig that up, pretty sad yes. But he is involved in a drug distribution ring, so as they say all bets are off. This is only 1 out of a thousands of more.

UPDATE:
TNA is declining making any type of statement regarding the whole steroid implication involving top star Kurt Angle. As we originally reported, Angle was working with World Wrestling Entertainment at the time of receiving the prescriptions and it is likely he will argue that he was using the drugs for simple rehabilitation. Both The Associated Press and ESPN have mentioned Angle noting his Olympic gold medal.
-
Their are names being thrown out every day, bigger and less forgiving than balco mess.angle's brother actually competed in pa ,better overall bbing gene's than kurt.
-
Oh dear, what a shock! NOT!
Even the shitty wrestlers physiques probably have some juice in them.
-
UPDATE:
The following is a statement from Kurt Angle regarding the recent Sports Illustrated media reports about the use by athletes of performance enhancing drugs obtained through the internet:
I did not improperly receive prescriptions. It is well documented that in my career I have broken vertebrae in my neck on five occasions and each time the course of treatment was under the care and supervision of my Doctors. Any attempt to link me to the athletes in the current news accounts who may have improperly sought performance-enhancing drugs is without foundation.
-
UPDATE
According to sources close to top TNA star Kurt Angle he is very upset with the recent media reports linking him to the steroid investigation in Florida. Angle issued a statement denying any claims of abusing steroids and that he had those prescriptions for medical purposes. The source also notes that he is especially upset with the media in his hometown of Pittsburgh saying he is about to cut himself off from them and this whole issue is having a negative impact on his entire family.
-
OH IT'S TRUE! DAMN TRUE!!!
-
kurt would never cheat and it is disappointing to hear my hometown treating him this way :-\

How or why are doctors patient records being put in the news, thats a HIPPA no no.
-
In the words of Jim Rome:
"340 syringes?! That's 340 syringes too many for me!"
-
hahahahaha, epic 21 inch neck and 12 inch arms.
Hahahaha.. let's not forget the brutal 40" wait/chest duo on par and the epic broken neck nerve damage 8)

I met Kurt back in 2000 at Gold's Gym and he was definitely a good sized guy, same type of physique as Benoit. But over time you could see it go down hill. He had pinched nerves in his neck and back which limited his lifting abilites.
Did he do GH, probably since there is no way to test for it.......
At the rate he IS going, he will be in wheelchair in the next 5-10 yrs, just like Dynamite Kid....

OH IT'S TRUE! DAMN TRUE!!!
Dammit you beat me to this one!!!!
I met Kurt at a local Card Shop here in Ohio and he seemed pretty cool, but he was also pretty damn BIG!! As was Lex Luger, Goldberg, Nash, DDP, and Brett Hart when they had all of them also. I've said it before it is not the roids that is fucking up Wrestling Entertainment, it is all those damn Painkillers. 50 Percocets a day? Are you fucking serious?
Wolfy!!!

I HOPE ALL PARTIES INVOLVED FILE MUTI MILLION DOLLAR LAW SUITS AGAIST SI, DEA, CLAMING LOST FUTUER EARNINGS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

It is a man's business what he does - This is silly and useless - Get a prescription from a doctor and that's that. The government needs to focus on BUsh's activties and drugs that are beign sold on the play grounds - and it is not HGH ..
My two cents - just annoying ! Reporters who do not even know where the gym is - reporting on things they do not know - trying to classify - HGH and Vitamins as STERIODS! MORONS
-
The government needs to stop telling doctors how they should treat Tests and diagnosis patients and their symptoms. There going to call him wheels soon.

Kurt Angle won an Olympic gold medal and world championships in wrestling. To see some idiots on here knocking his physique is the single dumbest thing Ive ever seen.He has done more in his life then ANYONE on here ever has or ever will, including ANY pro bodybuilder. Now,the dirty filthy rotten government is going after guys with legit perscriptions for steroids yet sit on their hands when it comes to congressmen Patrick Kennedy going into rehab for his third stint. They wonder why their are Timmothy McVeighs out there.Once again, our government SUCKS!Illegal immigration? No problem.Crack deals on every corner of my city?Fine.Child Molestors getting out of jail in months?Ok.However, dont you dare take steroids!!What a freaking joke!
