Gustavo is one of the biggest bullshitters in the business, he claimed in another article that his arms grew two inches in two weeks when he started training. ::)

hahaha almost as bad as arvilla's 600 pound squat claim, 315 pound tricep extension, 500 pound barbell presses and all that done while looking like a stick.

A thread titled "BB fairy tale" without a mention of Derek Anthony is misleading.

because the pros want you to believe that they're superhuman when 99.9 percent of them are average to a little below average bone structured average height guys who took a bunch of drugs and lifted weights and ate.

Would most of them look like everyday natural trainers off drugs?  Or superior naturals?

They still look pretty big.  At least when I compare them to me and people I see everyday.

FROM GUSTAVO'S WEBSITE:

Toughest thing about being a bodybuilder:
It bothered me when my son came home from school and said, "Papa, a bunch of boys from school said the only reason you got big is because of steroids." So I said to him, "Well, what do you think? And he said, "Well, you eat six or seven times a day and you train so hard every day and you take a lot of protein." It bothers me when people tell my son that they don't respect what his father does. They respect baseball players, but bodybuilding is harder than baseball. Baseball is about having a talent and playing a game. But with bodybuilding you have to train and diet and get enough sleep and take supplements and do cardio. Bodybuilding is not just a sport - it's a lifestyle. You have to live it all the time.

if he had the talent to play baseball on a pro level he would never touch weights again

" Q: What is the minimum salary of a Major Leaguer?
A: The minimum salary for the 2006 season is $327,000. "

and you must really suck to be making the minimum. Not to mention that the salaries are fully guaranteed
