"I had the pleasure of having Robby Robinson and Gary Strydom as my guests for a Sunday BBQ this weekend. It was great to sit back and listen to these guys talk about bodybuilding past, present and future.
We have all orginized something big for an upcoming issue of Kaged Muscle soon. I will Keep you posted.

I met Strydom. He was really nice to talk and meet for the first time. I just cant believe he didnt place high in the Colorado Pro.....Strydom looked incredible.

Ive met Shawn and Gary and look forward to meeting more of my early bodybuilding idols in the near future one day
How is Strydom's supplment company coming along? Ive tried some of his products and they were awesome...

Jerry you and I are from the same BB generation.. It was a great time for bb :) .. I first met Gary in the early nineties and he was the widest person I have ever seen :o .. He was in town to guest pose for the Aussie nationals and he was so popular he done his routine three time- consecutively.

1987 Night of Champions was Gary Strydom's highlight !

A friend of my sister saw Gary Stydom at an Airport...She said that Gary had a real arrogant swagger and flared his arms out to the side like Jay does.
I knew a guy who once went to my gym and said he had seen Robby Robinson in a StarBucks in LA. He said that Robby sucked back those Lattes with real attitude. Apparently Robbie swishes the coffee around his mouth and appears to chew on it...

AVBG, can you ask Gary when he will be back to Mid City Gym in NYC. I worked out with him there, he was a very friendly dude. Let him know that they are moving to 42nd st next year.

It was a great day. It was awesome listening about the times they trained together on tour (as far as Holland) and the fun stories they had to tell. They especially laughed about the time Bertil Fox couldnt eat his food on a flight to Europe because it was locked in his bag and he had lost the key. Through the fits of laughter, Robby said that Bertil was so angry you could almost see him smoothen out. Gary said the guy "went off".
I was wondering why everyone was just picking at the steak I bbq'd but then I noticed the one on Robby's plate was challenging Strydom's to a pose down. It was pretty raw to say the least. After 10 more mins on the bbq we discussed the possibility of a training shoot of Strydom and Robby together for Kaged Muscle. Both are in amazing shape. Robby is very humble but a sneak at his abs showed me that he could shoot tomorrow - the guy is diced.
They have both trained together several times over the years and train much the same so this will make for a great shoot.

That shot of Robby is frightening...i hope that man is not using 'ice' because he shaw does look like it...
Gary's hair or should i say 'weave' is hideous. The guy has always been ultra vain but the 'rug-thing' or whatever detracts from his saggy-double-chins...
Robby, if you are on 'the ice' get help now. The life of a meth-head is not a pretty one. You are looking freaky to the extreme. Those menacing eyes, a very evil figure indeed.
