Title: Saudi king calls US occupation of Iraq "illegal"
Post by: ribonucleic on March 28, 2007, 04:55:04 PM
King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia told Arab leaders on Wednesday that the American occupation of Iraq is “illegal,” and he warned that unless Arab governments settle their differences, foreign powers like the United States would continue to dictate the region’s politics.

The king’s speech, at the opening of the Arab League summit meeting here, underscored growing differences between Saudi Arabia and the Bush administration as the Saudis take on a greater regional leadership role, partly at American urging. The Saudis seem to be emphasizing that they will not be beholden to the policies of their longtime ally....

Last week, the Saudi king abruptly canceled his appearance at an April White House dinner planned in his honor, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday. The official reason given for the cancellation was a scheduling conflict.

Ann Coulter was right: "invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity"...

Did she try to enlist in the armed forces and get rejected for weighing 82 pounds?

Or maybe was she planning to let the darkies do the dying for her.

other then a retracted BBC article about one of them, do you have any link to show?

Because if they did exist, OBL wouldn't playing the "here we are video" Arab TV every day.

I could, but it will come from footage that people will say is all CT spin, so you either believe it or you do not.

I will admit that 90% was a made up BS number on my part... but let me say that a large percentage are alive.

As to your question, I don't know... It was talked about in the "Loose Change" video and if you google for "9-11 Hijackers Alive"... there's tons of links.

Whether you believe any of it is up to you.

Oh, let me clarify... they did not answer your particular question... my answer to that is "I don't know why they would not do that."

They were talking about the hijackers in loose change and how a large number are still alive. That's all.

Does that clarify my response?

It's wasn't just Bush2 & Clinton, Bush 1 & Reagan dropped to their knees for Saudis as well.

There are certain circles within the US where Saudi's are like Kings literally & figuratively.

Ever seen a gung ho cop ask a guy where he's from, ...then get the response Saudi Arabia?

I remember pale Pakistani's trying to pass themselves as SA's in BH, cause it meant royal treatment.  :P

I dunno, I mean what if they are?

Now this will sounds awfully CT, but if there are documents, people have supposedly stepped up and seen it for themselves, and others have seen it...

I mean, there's so much stuff that points to "could be", shouldn't we at least be a little skeptical of things going on... I thought that was our job as citizens?

You know what makes this discussion a little less funny?

2971 Americans who died on September 11th.  200 of which who were jumpers.

What's funny here is that the same people who mock 911 skeptics for questioning the official story - are the same ones who refuse to believe everything the govt tells them.  They admit it.  So, they pick and choose which statements are lies and which are not, and mock anyone who disagrees with them.

mm69, please promise me that WHEN they make someone a fall guy for WTC7 collapse and admit it was explosives a few years down the road, you'll stick around and let me rag on you for a day or two?

Not sure if I would use the word buddy buddy, I think it was a buisness relationship and money always eases tensions. But the Saudi King is the reason we shut down our largest military installation in the middle east PSAB. He wasnted us out, and the Saudi government used to make things really hard on AF operations there.

They spend weeks together in the summertime on the Bush ranch.

Bush1 and the saudi royals have long been a topic of interest and discussion because their business and personal histories and relationships are so deep.  Buddy buddy is very much true in this case.

The saudis do have to listen to their people, and they have stiffened relations with the US thanks to Iraq.  But Bush1 and his oil princes are something you can't deny.

I have family in both NYPD and FDNY.......both say #7 was "pulled".

Enough said.

pulled?   are saying it was demolished intentionally?

9/11 conspiracy theorists believe that 7 World Trade Center was deliberately destroyed. Conspiracy theorists cite the 2002 PBS documentary America Rebuilds, in which Silverstein said: "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it. And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse." Silverstein's spokesperson, Dara McQuillan, said in September 2005 that by "pull it" Silverstein was referring to the contingent of firefighters remaining in the building, and confirming that they should evacuate the premises

The Saud Family and the Bush's are in bed with each other, what else is new?

These two families have a disturbingly close relationship.

"Pull it"

When "official story" folks say this was about fire teams, you really have to laugh.  Popular mechanics (you know, homeland security chief michael chertoff's cousin's magazine) was the first group to write this, to cover up for his smoking gun statement, and it's been parroted.  But never used BEFORE 9/11.  On the other hand, "pull it" has been used by demo teams for decades and is part of their common vernacular.

Plus, um, the building sure does look like it was pulled.

Not even mentioning how much money Silverstein standed to gain from the demolition destruction.

he made 480 mil on wtc7 alone.

he put down $14 million down payment on the towers, six weeks before 911.

911 hit, and he has cashed insurance for 7+ Billion.

Hell of an investment.

Also, in spring 2002, NYC was going to shut down the towers because the asbestos hadn't been removed.  They were going to close the doors.  It would have been a financial backbreaker.  Silverstein bought them anyways.  And, he didn't even start the asbestos process (which would have taken a year - the towers would have been shut down for some time in the spring even if he had started the One Billion Dollar asbestos removal project immediately.

You wanna talk motive?  He turned 14 mil into 7 billion.  He bought a doomed project and didn't bother fixing it.  Instead, he just "pulled" it.

Look at Silverstein more.  Look at the asbestos issue more.  Hell, look at the corrosion studies - many thought the towers were going to have to be demolished anyway.

Motive, motive, motive.  Problem is, if you are going to commit insurance fraud, you shouldn't do it with 3000 people in the buildings.

News flash!!! the Saudis have never liked us. Of course you would know that from all the time you have spent side by side with me in Saudi Arabia......no? hmmmm

Excuse Me?! What planet are you living on? When you say Saudis, ...are you refering to the average man in the streets, ...or are you refering to the the House of Saud, the Saudi Royal family? Because if you're talking about the Royals, I'd have to say with the exception of OBL, ...the relationship is bloody incestuous. They are so close, ...they might as well be family. They even call the ambassador Bindar Bush... the family's are THAT close.

mm69 hasn't studied this one bit.

if he had, he'd know about the huge relationship there.

been in the military ten years, served IN Saudia Arabia, and had no clue about this?

Something wrong there.

The military is largely about following orders, not thinking for yourself. No offense to those in the military,
but thats a simple fact.

That is further compounded by the fact that those in the military who are required to think, ...don't know how.

here, we have mm69, hh6, and Enigma.   IMO, they fall into 3 categories:

Loud & Uninformed  mm69: didn't know there was a Saud/Bush relationship.  Didn't know Alaska had ANY oil, much less the second largest reserve in the world.

Politically blinded  hh6: blames clinton for 9/11, and has said that any attack on America in the first FIVE years of the Bush admin would have been CLinton's fault.

Recently aware  Enigma: was a diehard supporter til he saw the horrors on the field, and learned the REAL reasons we went to war - corporate and oil interests.

You are a Canadian who has never spent a day in the reserves or on active duty in either the Canadian or American armed forces.  You watch too much T.V.   ::)

If you ever get the opportunity to hang w/ some of the Spec Ops boys in the bar and talk, you'd really
be surprised how they are. They have a lot of freedom in their group. They do not salute each other, and rank alone does not allways outweigh experience. Its a group thing. I hung for a week @ nights with about a dozen of these guys, and they are not what you'd think. This was about 2 yrs before Sept 11th. Its sad to think some of them have prolly been wasted for nothing. Very impressive crew of guys.

Truth be told, ...I'd be scared to hang out with Spec Ops boys in a bar.

The ability to kill a wo/man 56 ways from Sunday, alcohol, & my mouth, ...doesn't make for a good combination.

It actually gets me out of more trouble than it gets me into.

I'm way different in person than I am on the internet.

In person, I can kick your ass and make you like it.  ;D

Actually, the House of Saud and Bush relation is for some reason not very well known.

It's no secret though.

These two families are like bread and butter, and only one person in Washington have access to Bush at all times - the Saudi Arabia Ambassadeur.

It's quite interesting, really. The history of these families, I mean.
