If Igor knocks Wandy out somehow then people will be saying his career is over, hes washed up etc and to an extent it may be true. If Wandy KO's Igor then where does he go? He was at one time considered the best but its a shame to see him so far off the top of this sport. Either way should be a very good fight if both guys are motivated

How do you guys get off saying Wandy is off his game or not at the top of his game. The guy got knocked out by Crocop. The 2nd best fighter in the world. If I wasnt mistaken wasnt that also an open weight tournament. Also losing to Hendo is not something that classifies you as being a can, or not being one of the best. Shit Hendo is one of the best.. So I hate to hear people say Wandy is off his game or decreasing. He still looks pretty damn sharp and would be top 3 in UFC or PRIDE in my opinion. STILL....

man, i didnt know this, will this fight happen??? im brazilian but i was always a big fan of Igor, i watched some fights he did here in Brazil in the beginning of his carrer...For sure he isnt himself anymore, BUT if he got his 'things' together, he can win...
i would LOVE to see Igor (on his best years) against Fedor. Two sambo fighters with more or less similar punching techniques and strenght...it would be awesome

what the hell are you going on about? Where did i say that he is finished as a top contender? Look through my posts and see how i have repetedly stated that had the same fight been fought in japan, Hendo would have suffered a vicious and early KO. Then when you have done that, please take time to READ the statement before you jump in with a statement like that

Hey pal this is what I was basing my post off. So maybe you should take the time to have a look at what you wrote. Than get back at me.

I hope Wandy doesn't get prideful and want to stand with Igor. Igor has IMMENSE power in his hands, and Wandy's chin is succeptible. Wandy should take him to the ground and sub him. Overeem caught him with a guillotine, Wandy is a BB, it can be done.

and Wandy's chin is succeptible.
thank God im not the only one who notice that

i never SAID, nor did anyone else say that he was off his game. I suggested that if he was to be knocked out by Igor then people COULD SUGGEST he was finished or passed his prime. I dont know what you were reading but try to understand things before you jump in with smart arse comments like that

Is that not what the hell you wrote. I dont understand how your saying that you never said he was off his game... I hope if Wandy is on his game you wouldnt think he was so far off the top of the sport. But who cares your not saying that obviously. I think Wandy has a chance to get back to where he was but even if its not it'll still be good to see him in the ring. Its gonna suck if they take away his stomps and knees though..
-
^^^^Wandy's chin was always suspect, in past fights against smaller Japanese fighters he was able to overhwhelm smaller fighters with aggressiveness. He won't be able to do that against Igor. Guy rocked him, Hendo rocked him in the first fight.

That is a STUPID statement. One, they had already fought once in Japan to a decision. Wandy was rocked in that fight. Two, Hendo has NEVER been ko'd or tko'd. Three, both had fought for some time at Pride, but they had also fought separately in UFC before. Would Pride rules have stopped that punch from sending Wandy into dreamland? No!

once again read the statement. If they had fought EXACTLY THE SAME FIGHT under Pride rules Wandy would have battered him, smiply because he got into perfect positions which would have enabled him to drop knees of stamp on the back of Hendos head. Forget whatever happened in their first fight, thats got absolutely NOTHING to do with what i said

Hendo's been in that position before. There is no way to be certain that he would have hypothetically lost in Japan.

Except for if he got kneed in the top of the head a bunch of times, like happend before the ref stood em up and deducted points from Wandy lol ;) get a clue man I hate all thies kids talking shit about MMA, get a clue will ya! And befor u dis any fighter and call em washed up, grab some balls and enter the ring with them! It's so easy to say from your couch with a bowl of chips and a beer.

Best for me.

Looks like it is not happening.
