Junkie would refer to people who do blow,H, smack, meth...the hard "junk". People who need a hit at least 2 to 3 or more, times a day. Don't think alcoholic falls into that area. And the thing was, Draper 'was' a heavy drinker, not now. Cheap shot, really.
Remember seeing pictures, in some old IronMan magazines (when it was a great mag), of Pete G.. Back yes, but outstanding delts and shoulder width. And I don't think he was one of those dwarf BB'er, but around 6 foot or so.

if your talkin about dave this is a post about junkie's. not improportionate and never heard of working his legs. come on. 19 inch arms and 12 inch legs don't really pair up do they. them legs look to small to pass inspection at foster farms much less a bodybuilding competition.

That picture has been altered by a computer program called "photoshop." It's possible to distort images with it, among other things.
What is a "foster farm?"

Try to come up with something a bit more creative next time. Such as:

How much do you gotta take to fit into the "juhkie category" today?
I trained with a guy who took in 2,100 mg of roids a day as an experiment. He was a genius and wanted to find out for himself if they were a major factor in building muscle ..... (this was back in the early 70's when some people claimed that steroids were ineffective).
He arranged his injections so that the "life cycles" would maintain a "peak" each day for a 7 - 8 week time frame, then he'd go off for a couple of weeks and then back on with the same 2,100 mg program.
I told this story before but he entered a contest after this experiment and won the overall and the most muscular and every body-part trophy that they handed out back then.
And following his win that evening, he was "invited" to compete in the pro event and beat all those guys too.
We had to break down all his trophies and pass them all around in order to get them to his home that evening.
Only after effects following that experiment was a painful "stretched stomach" from eating too much food and a slight case of high blood pressure which a doctor associated with the Olympics managed to cure with an injection of some type.
The above is a true story with no exaggeration.
One other statement .... In all fairness to Peter G.... Most of you guys/gals probably don't realize that Pete originally participated in a controlled study under medical supervision regarding steroids' effects on the human body.
Keith, ask Pete about that one and if it would be OK for me to post it on here.

the first bodybuilding contest I saw was in the mid 1980s, so Draper and all the others were a little before my time. but I'd say that posing today isn't as good as it was 20 years ago, especially at the top amateur level, because people are so dry and ripped that they have trouble just walking across the stage.

~hurt his back getting ready for masters O after he got his pro card in 02 or 03 --- never been then same since...I used to train with him, now he doesnt even speak to me cause of some female
in my book the guy is a junkie off pain meds -- also had to fire his GM for sniffing too much blow :o
