Title: what are some good ab exercises
Post by: mdgkmg on April 12, 2007, 05:35:04 PM
ok so abs happens to be the only bodypart i haven't really been able to get out of a rut or to bring into balance with the rest of my build. i'm just not sure what exercises are gonna help the most. i currently do 3 which are, decline crunch, twisting crunch(done on the decliine), and leg lifts(done on a flat bench with legs sticking off of bench)

Try hanging leg raises and make sure your hips don't sway at all. Also get one of those Swiss balls and rest your elbows on it with your knees on the end of a bench. Roll out and pull yourself back. Weighted crunches are also good.

Why do you need to do abs?

provide you do enough deads, squats, leg presses and your body fat is low enough you should able to see  your abs. Yes, they won't be world class crisp but so what?

don't you keep your mid section tight while doing most exercises anyway?
