McCain 12%, Thompson 15% among Republicans in LA times poll.
Thompson has not declared he is running and McCain has been thr declared frontrunner for 2008 for the last 8 years.
This Iraqi market thing really sank him.

Damn I'd like to see McCain going on strong
-
McCain has shifted positions in the last 2 months. He now parrots Bush 100%.

Thompson is riding the Law & Order/sympathy factor. It won't last.
I can't believe how quickly McCain is losing it. It's like he's turning into everything he wasn't. I'm still a little pissed that he's not the current President. The GOP screwed the pooch when the pushed him away and nominated Bush.
If McCain crashes I literally have no idea who I'm voting for.

Damn me too, I'm somewhat of a moderate democrat, I don't think I can hand over my vote to Obama.

Now if Steven Hill was running...

I can't vote for Obama either.
Giuliani is a NO,
Clinton is a NO,
Romney is a HELL NO,
Edwards is a possibility
and McCain used to be a YES but he's turning into someone I can't vote for.
