Title: Dog Gone It - Grass

The ingredient list "looks" ok. I'd like to get Flower's approval before I stock up.

If you have a deep chested dog brewers yeast can promote gas and bloating. But nothing in the ingredients seems harmful. Just watch for itching or other problems.

this link had some ideas, anyone know where you can get sawdust? I have sparse grass because the big foots tear up the earth.

Careful though - some pine needles kill off other plants (hence the sparse groundcover in some pine forests), so who knows if the sawdust will do the same to your grass. ???

Obviously, don't get dust from MDF or engineered wood since it's bound to be poisonous for man and beast.

Actually last summer I did get a fair amount of grass to survive. When we get rain the clod hoppers tear up the lawn which is how it mainly gets killed off. I have put hay/straw down before because that will actually seed.

I have pretty much given up to having a lush lawn. I just continuously throw grass seed down and hope some of it will survive and take. I went through 2 good size bags last year. I am either going to do that again or the roll out grass route:

Post by: knny187 on April 19, 2007, 01:22:37 PM: Most wood shops & lumber yards will give you saw dust for no charge....but....you have to ask yourself how are you going to transport it? Maybe in garbage bags....but it's so loose & fine....it gets all over the place.

I used to work in a garage & we got saw dust for spills. Used to be a pain in the ass because it got everywhere.
