Title: Anybody watch the Dela Hoya/ Mayweather 24/7 on HBO??

I thought the coverage was outstanding. A new show every Sunday leading up to the fight!

Those boys were training hard for each other! Mayweather's speed is unbelievable. Did you see that one trainer clocked in over 6,000 punches! The situp to a full standing postion while throwing punches was hardcore.

Boxing is a dead sport, ultimate fighting is bigger than boxing now.

Maybe in the heavyweight division but not through the lightweight to light heavyweight classes. A dead sport? You are utterly cluesless.

It's all about being a fan of the sport, bottom line.

I do agree that ultimate fighting is quickly closing the gap but it's not as big as boxing as a whole. Compare the PPV and gate numbers between a typical MMA event and a boxing PPV and you tell me how much more popular MMA is then.
