the meaning: the nearly straight-line configuration of three celestial bodies (as the sun, moon, and earth during a solar or lunar eclipse) in a gravitational system

my OED also defines this word as meaning a "pair of connected or correlated things".
I just thought it was a nice new word.

plus i have difficulty saying it, let alone spelling it and I love words like that.

sorry for triple posting, but this new word of mine has 3 y's in it.

My Oxford English says it's
a conjunction of opposition,
(esp of moon with sun).
It says nothing about 3. Does your dictionary say it's 3? Which dictionary?

whatever.
No matter.

I'm either going to mop my floors soon or travel shortly to other getbig boards (I haven't dared go to the other ones since before Christmas... who is moderating there nowadays?
