Post by: The Squadfather on May 15, 2007, 01:16:34 PM
look the man has a lot of bad things about his body but let's be honest the man has an awesome chest, some of the best traps in the sport and a damn good back.

the guys always had an amazing chest...if you've seen that picture of him when he was 13...he has a pretty broad chest for his age.

arms and legs are everything though...you have shitty arms and thighs...you're going to to fail in the sport

Title: King in WWE pro wrasslin'
Post by: HowieW on May 15, 2007, 01:43:30 PM
I feel that King Kamali could do well and make some decent $$$ as a pro wrestler in the WWE or similar organization. He knows how to create drama , is a pro bodybuilder with a lot of sheer mass and seems to enjoy putting on a real show for the fans. I would like some feedback on this as I have NOT watched pro wrasslin' on a reg basis in many years.

King could bust his butt, regroup and maybe qualify for another Olympia, but it is unlikely he could be a top 10 Olympia guy with the depth of todays pro field. He is a legit pro bodybuilder that did pretty well for a couple years. I don't know KING and only met him once, but, I suspect he may not have the burning desire to to go thru the greuling contest prep he once endured????
Now he should move on to another field where he could excel.

Howard you are too much into your emotions. We man do not need to feel for other man in that respect. Now about king yes he would do better in Rastling!

His "biggest" bodypart remains his ego and until he can "balance it out" with the rest of his physique he'll be "overlooked"

Oh no, I don't feel sorry for KING, no need to as he is still a pro with a good life and beautiful wife. I think the guy could do really well however in a forum like wrasslin' where showmanship is a big part of your success or failure.

Why would the WWE hire him when he doesn't know the stunts? They're just not gonna hire someone who has absolutely no experience.

He could do some kind of a training camp? I think he might draw? Of course he would have to have strong desire to change and become a pro wrassler' ....which he may not. I know I would never want to be one. To be honest I think it is kinda dumb and juvenille, but, what do I know, the WWF/ WWE makes big bucks and gets TV air time in prime time.

Top WWE stars are paid millions, unlike 3rd tier bbers.

King would have to work his way up.

True, but do you think KING could do anything  and move up in their ranks?

Being big doesn't mean you can handle the bumps and falls of wrestling.  Also, some big guys are still wimps.

Oh no question even if they are stunts they are tough to do night after night. Do you think KING could do it?

Anyone remember when Achim Albrecht tried to go to the WWF?  Looked great, but couldn't move in the ring to save his life.  I imagine King would be a lot like that, too.

AHAHAAHAH!!!  Kamali would have to strap an oxygen tank to his back in order to wrassle for 3 minutes.

No.  How many of us could handle being thrown out of a ring over the top rope, fall almost 10 feet, land on a hard floor protected with one gym mat and walk away from it night after night.  There is a reason why most wrestlers are on pain killers.  I have much respect for wrestlers as athletes.

King is pushing 30+ already.. I don't think people make decisions to be wrestlers at that point in life.

Would love to see the way Kamali trains his legs and arms.  His waist is down, and he has the right idea as far as what he needs to do.  Would be interesting to see how someone such as Charles Glass could bring up his weak points.

King needs to find someone as good as Glass to properly train him.  Genetics aside, check out Bob's legs and arms.  He does not train that heavy and has warned King about doing so.

interesting question

If u ask me,king grew up watching wrestlin like alot of us did.and i know 4 sure that it is very much a part of the persona he displays,as is evident in the skits he did with triple h and him having batista in his circle of friends

Hes just extended outrageous wrestling type of behavior into the realm of bb as a means to create excitement..a no more truer statment can be made abt king

Now in terms of getting into wwe, well hes got pals like triple h whose the boss son in law,and the fact that mcmahon loves bb can be a positive.theyd give em a developmental deal.dont wory, king will pick up quick cos im sure hes done like 3/4 of the moves already when he was young ,we all do

And hey theres no disputing that king would be amazing a character cos hes the guy evry1 loves to hate, pure gold baby, gold

Only hinderences would be his height, and his mobility

I just dont understand it - i know calves are determined quite a bit by genetics, but how the f ck do these guys train as much as they do, eat as much, take as much gear, then end up with calves like toothpicks even worse than your average gym rat that doesnt train legs?? Madness

If Achim Albrecht can do it (Bodybuilder turned Wrestler), so can King!

His wrestling-character was called BRAKKUS!
