I dont recall seeing pictures of vastly out of shape BB of the pre steroid era.Do you feel it came in to vogue with steroids?Do you also feel bulking has any place in natural training?How about even with Drug enhanced training?At what point is it considered bulking?100?200?500?1000 calories over Maintenance?Your thoughts?

There are delusional guys who eat too much, gain mostly fat, and think it's muscle they're gaining so they continue. Or they have no will power to not overeat, so they are in denial about being fat slobs. Then they come on message boards and tell others if they're not gaining a pound every week they're not making gains.
The same guys don't post pictures and call everyone who's in shape, 'skinny' or 'ab shooters'.

these guys act as though being over 220 lbs and obese is impressive and pick on people who are cut at 180-190 because they feel insecure knowing that once cut they'd be the same weight.

Most have tried to cut but have given up multiple times too I'm sure.

I carefully watch my diet about 90% of the time.

TO me everday life inshape is 8 to 12 pct,visible abs and vascularity,clear shape and lines to the muscle,anything below belongs on stage if you have the muscle to show it.to stay on a yearly i'm bulking plan is useless unless drugged,bulked at 8pct or more drugged will show more just to the more thickness and fullness of the muscle to a clean lifter,clean at 8 pct or so with decent muscle will raise eyebrow's.i'm not taking consideration bodyweight's that changes with each person height and frame capacity.
